I woke up 90 minutes early today, delivery was coming between 6 am and 8 pm

I swept the entire house (tile floors)
poop scooped the yard
did a load of whites
and emptied the dish washer


all before 8 am


then I watched thor again

load/unload dishwasher

Sabres talk: Jbotts and staff are heavily scouting the ahl to build up rochester. They have been to chicago recently to check in on the shared blues/knights affiliate. I've heard brandon pirri.

I really feel like this sabres season is not even on their radar. Jbotts came in and mentioned building thru the draft, seasoning players in the ahl then bringing them up.

He's looking to score a top defenseman as a #1.
Making risto a great #2.

Also hearing evan Rodriguez is aiming for Pittsburgh home and home. 12/1 maybe sooner. Jbotts is really high on him, watched him closely in the ahl the past few seasons. Could be our #3 center with some scoring touch and speed.

You’re coming at me when everyone on here has a wife that babies them that cleans ,cooks , laundry , takes care the kids , does everything in the house Hate to break it to you but that’s basically a cleaning lady

I have not had the privilege of having a wife yet so I have to get a fake wife that does not love me and uses me for money excuse me

Exactly what color is the sky in your world because you apparently don't live in the same one I do.

I do more cleaning, cooking, laundry, and taking care of the kids than my wife does. I also earn more in my job so don't think I am some stay at home dad.

Any couple that I know of shares the work as equally as possible with the rare exception when one of them makes enough that the other doesn't work.

Thanks for the scuttlebutt. I have a few questions/comments:

1) regarding looking for a #1, what the heck would that cost? Probably half the teams in the NHL are looking for a true #1.

2) regarding EROD, this is good to hear. Due to his injury, he seems to be the forgotten one. From what I can remember, he had good wheels and hockey sense. With Rhino not working out as #3C, why not give EROD a chance?

3) regarding bolstering Rochester, this is a good thing. Create a winning culture there. God knows the Pegula sports franchises could use a winning culture somewhere.

He isn't just fast, I think he's actually faster than jack. I was at one of the untelevised preseason games where he had an assist on a 2 on 1 and drew 2 hooking penalties because he's explosively fast. He's also very slight and tends to take big hits

I tried to do some back reading to see if the Gudas slash was talked about yesterday at all, but decided it wasn't worth reading through whether or not Carey Price is a pedophile and all that...

So anyway...

Gudas has an in person hearing for trying to decapitate Perreault last night. I feel like anything less than 10 games and the NHL has failed miserably.

Thoughts?

Yeah among NHL elite defensemen. I'm not suggesting with the 5th overall pick you go off the board and take a 7'2" defenseman to be cool. I'm saying in the second round, if say 7 dmen have been taken, and they're all small speed guys, instead of digging into the lower end of the speed guys, take a big man who isn't fast

Edit: one way to find value is to buck the trends. IF everyone is buying an SUVS, you can get a great deal on a sedan
