Do u realize that you CONSTANTLY not answer questions I pose so that u can try & twist the narrative?
U said ROR can’t get big minutes if we give him more offensive zone starts...
Correct? You did say that, right?
Now if that’s true,
Then how do Pitt and Chicago accomplish this?
What are their numbers?
Arguing the effectiveness is a different point
I’ll get to that after you admit you’re wrong about how the icetime can be achieved - jdfitz77
He wouldn’t get 20 minutes a night if he didn’t play heavy D minutes.
Guess who’s the only other non-1st liner near him in ice time per game last year?
Ryan Kesler.... now what do they have in common ?

We thought Taylor and his 3 and outs were bad
Nathan Peterman: Hold my beer, we won't even get to the third down if I have any say in things.
Dennison is a serious (frank)ing idiot, but what kind of a head coach let's his OC make a mockery of him?
Terry Pegula has his spoon in everyone's soup. Trust me, this guy has a say in how often a guy can fart, until he decides to pay him to go away for the next 3 or 4 years. - BeadyEyedDouche
I find it hard to believe that we wouldn’t hear more about Pegula meddling as much as u make it seem
That stuff isn’t kept secret now-a-days
It always gets out
But I don’t really care who’s fault it was
It was proven to be a bad decision
Peterman probably wasn’t ready
Tyrod probably have us a better chance to win today
Teams don’t “see what they have” unless they’re out of the playoffs
And we were still in a good spot
Oh well...
hopefully we can get our QB in this draft
There’s a lot of talented QBs coming out
Let’s hope we pick the right guy
Also,
I never liked Dennison
Hopefully he is replaced for next year |

Why can Pitt & Chicago give their top2 lines heavy offensive zone starts but we can’t do that with O’Reilly?

Answer the question - jdfitz77
Because they actually play decent hockey, shoot pucks on net and get face offs in the opposite zone, unlike us? |

That’s again a different point,
but I’ll just play along since u can’t admit you’re WRONG that ROR can get minutes like Toews does while getting more offensive zone starts like he does
I’m not saying O’Reilly is Malkin,
but he’s pretty close to Toews
Maybe if we used him more offensively,
you’d see some of your criticisms change
He’s gonna get closer to the Sedin’s +14pts than he is the “average” player’s +3pts
If we call it in the middle,
that puts him right in the range of points Toews gets each year
That’s not making us a contender
But that was never my point
Just that ROR would score MORE if he was used more offensively
Which is extremely logical & super obvious
That u continue to ignore this is beyond me |

Toews is Chicago’s #1 Center. Not number #2.
Artem Anisimov was there #2, and played 17:41 average
O’Reilly played almost 21 minutes a night because he plays more defense than guys like Anisimov.

If pk88 plays 20min a night on line2,
why can’t O’Reilly?
He does it without being forced into defensive zone time like ROR...
correct? Or no?
Again...
I’m not saying O’Reilly is Pat Kane,
just saying he can be used more offensively
U seem to keep trying to say that’s not possible, but it clearly is |

Pretty sure PK time can be factored in here.
But there is literally 0 reasons for ROR to be playing 20+ minutes a night in a game that doesn't reach OT. |

If we had a coaching stuff that actually catered to player strengths instead of using their “system” we’d be much better.
Taylor in the right read option system would be a QB a team could win with.
Dennison, and McDermott are both idiots.... I’d have no problem switching QB’s if we where in a situation where it didn’t matter... todays little experiment is probably going to cost them, at the expense of the fans yet again.
Pegula, unfortunately thinks he can run both sports teams like a business... if he was smart he would hire two experanced vp’s and step a side... he obviously as no idea how to hire personal for either franchise.
Both of these guys ( Housley, McDermott) will be gone in 2 years and the cycle repeats.... nothing is going to change until the management “process” changes.

The goat head jerseys were horrible
Design was ugly
And the colors were terrible,
made us look like Ottawa
The whole thing was gross |

He may have signed his death sentence with that him or me stance, especially after that performance by Peterman....bad judgement by your OC...and he changed the O-line blocking scheme resulting in their struggles rather than a top 5 line.
He’s done.

It will be an unpopular decision, but I still believe the decision was the right one against the right opponent.
The Bills are not in this to max out at Tyrods ceiling. He proved that all season (and in the prior two). If Tyrods not the right guy, the Chargers were a good opponent to see whether Peterman IS.
Just because the answer was “no” doesn’t mean the question shouldn’t have been asked. |
