It will be an unpopular decision, but I still believe the decision was the right one against the right opponent.
The Bills are not in this to max out at Tyrods ceiling. He proved that all season (and in the prior two). If Tyrods not the right guy, the Chargers were a good opponent to see whether Peterman IS.
Just because the answer was “no” doesn’t mean the question shouldn’t have been asked.

I don’t think the timing was right
At the time, we were 1 game up in the last playoff spot
With likely losses looming at KC & then the Pats, this past game vs SD was HUGE
I just don’t see starting a rookie QB for the 1st time, in that situation, as a good idea
I know Tyrod hasn’t been great
I’m as big a critic as anyone
But he still gave us the best chance to win
Seemed to me like the change was based on Peterman coming in & looking decent in garbage time
That’s no way to evaluate the position
What do we do now though?
