Jbotts likes sam. He likes him more for a reasonable salary. Jbotts is a very patient professional. The 15-23 combo is still the plan, from what I hear. |

Does the Botts think highly of the coveted Nylander? |

True but the good news is he's spent many years in Buffalo visiting his uncle and going to championship games I'm sure his uncle is whispering in his ear
And him visiting all the time he knows how Buffalo fans are etc - GERBE!!!75PTS
I think the 2 main reasons why people stay or live I'm buffalo:
Family - parents, grandparents and babysitting
Job- you find a good job here, the cost of living and housing prices are great.
How close is Jt with uncle Jt?
How close do his parents live? Ontario?
He's getting paid regardless of location.
Imagine JT signing with tampa. The cap would be a problem, but they would be even more unstoppable |

Are u implying a “tank” of some sort by J Botts?
That’s a reach imo
Good news on Olofsson
Looks like he may be in that group with Bailey, Baptiste, etc etc etc
I wonder if he’ll come over to Rochester next year
Asplund will most likely - jdfitz77
Why wouldn't jbotts want a top 5 pick this year?
This is a tank season, just a classier version.
Similar to their public personas
Tmgm - loud, says what's on his mind, and to the point
Jbotts - professional, well spoken and hard to read

It's not professional, he has had so many concussions his demeanor is stuck like that. Definitely hard to read |

Opening night lineup next year,
assuming no major changes...
Kane-Eichel-Reinhart
Bailey-O’Reilly-Okposo
Nylander-????-Pominville
Girgensons-Larsson-????
Moulson?
Pouliot?
3rd line center options:
-Mittelstadt, unless they want him to “develop” in Rochester
-Asplund, see above
-move down Reinhart, although that didn’t look good this year
-move up Larsson or Girgensons, meh
-give Rodrigues a shot, could be our best bet if Mittelstadt isn’t ready
-UFA, not too many quality Center options out there
4th line winger:
-Nolan, or similar UFA
-young guy currently in Rochester:
Baptiste, Rodrigues, Cj Smith, Fasching
And this is IF we keep Kane
We really need some of the kids to be able to come up & help us score some goals |

Idk...
u think he could’ve predicted all the injuries to the defense, bad goalie play, and disappearance of PP goals?
We should be closer to a borderline playoff team than a top5 draft pick |

I guess I could see that if he thought the defense would be bad again
Maybe we had our hopes up that Antipin & Beaulieu would make a difference? |

Our defense is predictably terrible.
I doubt he depended on bogo to be good or play a healthy season. History doesn't lie.
He traded a 3rd in the division for belivue. He's serviceable at best. Who trades a good d to a rival for a 3rd?
Tennyson- tank guy, he's brutal
Antipin - growing pains as expected. Rookie
Scandella and mccabe - Perfect bottom pair , on an average team. Not 3/4
Falk - good 7th or 8th d
Gorges - 7 th or 8th d
Risto - probably suprised by his injury
Pretty obvious our goaltending tandem is week. Bad d makes average goaltending = below average goaltending
The pp - that's on the coaches. Hard to predict a drop of 25 plus spots. |
