That could have been the worst call I have ever seen.
Also Tyrod should have made a better throw to O'Leary for sure but all and all both defenses played well with no running game what so ever Tyrod was the right guy to play and he was moving the ball well and then Dennison went all conservative with the play calling.
Dennison needs to go. |

I knew this was going to happen...we'd win against the Oilers and then all would be right in Sabres land for the next 2 or 3 losses. This team (frank)ing sucks.
I don't remember who on here suggested it, but I agree that I would rather watch the Amerks on MSG for the rest of the season. |

And McDermott is on the post-game saying w"We played good team offense"
yeah, despite your inept OC.
After last week, I never thought I'd be so happy to see 189 yards passing from my QB. |

I don't think people said, or even thought, all was right with this team...there are still a lot of problem areas for them, but after going winless in seven a win, any win, was a bit of a relief |

I know Tyrod isn't the long term answer, but I wonder what would happen if they had an OC that would cater to him and his style of play.
He is going to light it up in Denver next year with Sanders and Thomas. |

If the Ravens lose tonight (doubtful) the Bills will be in the playoffs (if they started after this week) in December.
Meaningful games left to be played.
They need a win over the Patriots... |

after watching him in buffalo these years, I don't think he has the balls to throw downfield to be that type of qb...
might change, but doesn't look like he'll ever be that type |

His main strength is the deep ball
Like his deep ball is really freaking good.
Right now they don't have a WR on the roster to be a deep threat.
That throw to Zay Jones that went for the endzone was an example of that. He put it in the perfect spot for his WR to make a play. The pass went incomplete but it was exactly where it needed to go, Jones didn't have any separation from the DB and they were battling the entire way. |

And there's no time for that play to develop because the line can't block anyone. Same reason there's no play-action. |

Dude out last 5 games are ridiculous. 4 division games. We will finish 9-7 at best and lose the tie-breaker to Baltimore and everyone will cry. |

Also very true.
He isn't the perfect QB by any stretch of the imagination but almost any other QB behind this line and you're looking at well almost as bad as what happened last week in the first half |

I know he can throw the deep ball...yet he rarely does it...and this has been happening for the last two seasons...
he seems scared to make a mistake...and it won't get any easier in Denver if that's where he's headed |

The line played their best game all year today. You chose a bad time to make that point but it's mostly correct. |

he also holds on to the ball too long when he does get good protection, has a propensity to miss wide open receivers or put the ball in places where yac is negligible |

Ok perhaps "all is right" wasn't the right phrase to use....its just this incessant mentality that i've seen so many times:
we get a win and the general consensus that major changes need to be made turns into a divide between "major changes still need to be made" and "we need to tweek the roster"
Yes it was a relief, but a relief shouldn't change anyone's opinion of just how big a train wreck this team is. We've still lost 18 games. We still have the same number of wins as the Coyotes. We are only 1 point away from being tied for the worst team in the league. We still find a way to lose (if its a lack of effort one night..its "we ran into a hot goaltender" the next). |

I see 2 for sure losses for the Bengals
Minnesota and Pittsburgh and they play the Ravens the last week of the season.
That's where the Bills will lose out ugh
The Bills need to beat the Patriots next week.
Win a game against them and if they handle the Colts and the Dolphins twice that's 10 wins |

For 3 quarters lol
But a non-existent running game is also on the line
They need to spread it out wide and let Shady run from that.
Dennison and his play calling are not only killing the offense on 3rd down he is literally killing the best offensive weapon the Bills have with his crappy run-blocking schemes |

Which has been broken down time and time again, his WR's couldn't get separation.
So he then plays conservative. I don't know why he plays conservative though, could be coaching or it could be all on him.
I would rather see him on a 3rd and long situation throw it 50 yards down field and if it gets picked its like a punt anyway... |

his play-calling consists of:
HB OFF TACKLE on 1st down
HB DRAW -or- HB DIVE on 2nd down
QB ROLLOUT -or- HB Screen on 3rd down.
That's pretty much it. |

I think the key is stopping the losses because of "lack of effort" and "not following the gameplan"...if they get beat because they're outclassed or beaten by a hot goalie, that's one thing...playing stupid hockey is another |

Tyrod must start and play himself in fantasy and prefers not to risk an INT for a 50-yard pass. He makes up the fantasy points with a few runs anyway. |
