The Sabres need somebody to care. the players look blah. Housley just stands there chewing gum like a moose. There's no way he should've let that interference call sit like he did. It didn't matter to the overall game, but damn dude, show some fire. That call was complete, homerish bunk. I'm not sure a call has gone our way all year. MAYBE the Pominville/Jack poke in goal. I thought for sure they wouldn't let us have that. Keep chewing your big league chew Housley. |

I have learned not to sit on my wallet in my jeans. it created massive sciatic issues.
I wear slim jeans. |

I agree: housley standing there showing zero emotion. Wonder why the team doesn't show any emotion. He might be a better tank coach than Ted. At least he works well with Jbotts and they speak to each other.
Unfortunately the goal , non goal was a good call. Sam has to stop interfering with the goalies. He did the same thing on eichels birthday goal. When you only have 5 goals all year, you would think he would be more careful.
Stripes any ruling or feeling on the goal tender interference?

More Kane to the Rangers rumors. I don't mind this as long as it is packaged with dead weight like Moulson, Okposo, ect. Kane will not sign here next year. He will be offered more than we could match by several teams if he goes to FA in the summer. |

I hear ror package. We would Need to take a lot of salary back. Most true playoff contending teams are near the cap. Hard to accommodate the salary dump necessary for a team to take on more than kane. |

I'm still hearing New jersey. Ray shero and Jbotts spent years in Pittsburgh together. They are very familiar with each other and spoken regularly. I was hearing Severson, his contact and the emergence of Butcher on the pp, made sense. Injuries may have slowed it down. |

Nash would be fine, but why in god's name would we trade ROR for Staal? That would be a horrible trade
term sucks, salary sucks. 2 first round picks? Then yeah |

Interesting. Without having a knowledge, i think the Sharks could be a good trading partner for Kane. They're having a lot of problems scoring right now. Maybe Brenden Dillon and a 2nd for Kane?
or Donskoi and Dillon for Kane and Antipin?

For the record, I want to keep Kane. I do like Dillon though, and he's on a nice contract. Donskoi would be a money in, money out kind of move. I think the return for Kane is going to be underwhelming, personally. He's going to be the best piece in a deal, and we'll be staring at futures. The trade i proposed is one that's geared toward adding pieces for next year, rather than one with draft picks that are several years away (if they make it). Either way, fans need to understand the Sabres aren't going to "win" a trade with a team for Kane. The other team is getting the best asset IMO |

I totally agree. Hard to expect a lot from a rental. I can definitely see the return involving an ahl or college player/ players or both. Jbotts is fond of both. The main player being an almost nhl ready guy, not just a pick(s) |

Anahiem: Montour or Manson in return - Boss34
According to Bob McKenzie (a couple weeks ago), the Ducks are willing to move Vatanen or Jacob Larsson for a forward
Lindholm, Fowler, Manson & Montour are off the table
I guess things could always change though
I like Larsson over Vatanen
Should end up being better defensively,
if he isn’t already |

Could you fellas please take your Sabres talk to another thread?
Thanks
How 'bout them Bills!?!?!?!?!
Rest of the schedule doesn't look too bad - The Miami games and the Colts game should be wins.
Does 9-7 get a wildcard this year? Not so sure...
Yuge game this Sunday. Bigly. |

2 losses to the pats, split with Miami and beat the Colts.
Make the Bills 8 and 8 again
