good to hear. Wasn't sure how close you were to the fires or friends were . - cabin
The only fire I seen was after the Sabres game, I got VIP tickets and was in he locker room before and after the game talking with the guys, I didn't stay long after the mood wasn't very good.

Some picks wind up falling in situations where a guy you've targeted/scouted heavily is available but he's not your position of need so im not really picky here. in general youd want to avoid any sort of extreme though. - Sabresfan-365
I think I would almost always draft Euros & goalies after the 3rd or 4th
I might be wrong here,
but I feel like they hit more than North Americans in he later rounds
But 2nd & 3rd round,

Bc what happens (generally)...
is a defenseman’s value will skyrocket after his draft year if he plays well,
Whereas it’s expected for a forward to make a jump in his scoring
Idk if it makes sense?
But it seems to be how it is
At least lately
Ppl say stuff like “draft the best player available”
I prefer to draft the best “value”
It’s not always the same thing
