some say the reason Subban was traded away had to do with Mrs. Price
Whatever they say, Carey is back playing with the team and shut us the frank out on Saturday

I always figured Larry Playfair.
Side note, true story swear on my kids eyes - I sat next to him on a plane from Detroit to Nashville the morning after Bertuzzi jumped Steve Moore. Guy was franking huge and had wrists thicker than my elbows.

I think I would almost always draft Euros & goalies after the 3rd or 4th
I might be wrong here,
but I feel like they hit more than North Americans in he later rounds

is a defenseman’s value will skyrocket after his draft year if he plays well,
Whereas it’s expected for a forward to make a jump in his scoring
Idk if it makes sense?

I feel like the euros have higher risk/upside so as far as lottery tickets/later round picks go it's the best route.
In general i agree with what you're saying about d-men, but this still only works if they're getting better year after year while continuing to show upside. The d-men who don't do this may have slightly more value than faltering forwards but they won't be more valuable than a forward who is showing great progress/upside.
Best value ends up being who you've got as your best available player on the board.

Bogo stubbed his toe going to the bathroom last night, he's week to week with a lower body injury. Eichel is going in for surgery to make his skin not look like a tomato. He's day to day. Reinhart looked in the mirror and realized he's a bust, then tried to ride that tandem bike all by himself and crashed, breaking his tailbone. He's out indefinitely. Antipin defected to Russia. JBotts seen combing waiver wire as he still refuses to call up anybody. Matt moulson will still be a healthy scratch as we dress Rip Simonek to make minimum roster requirement. Martin Biron will have a TON to say about all of this but he will be cut off by duffer in order for Biron to take a breath, and to show some commercials and stuff. Rob Ray still will say "acrosst" at some point. RJ will forget to talk again. Sabres suck.
