I used to look forward to watching the games. i'll probably have it on while I decorate for Christmas. I probably won't hear our goal song. i'll probably hear Ray say accrosst. i'll definitely be drinking. - Khmylev
I really don't understand the hate for the goal song. Who gives a (frank)? There are so many problems with the team and people hate the thing they hear when the team actually does something right.

You don’t need to add you need to destroy the whole thing get rid of all the horrible contracts start over with Jack Eichel it’s that easy - gerbe75pts
If Pouliot and Okposo were on the 3rd line, and the 4th line had actual NHL players, and if we had defense worth paying to see, this is a marginal playoff team.
Again, whether they can or not is irrelevant, what's the last one you've seen?
It doesn't happen. - Wetbandit1
I can't quote from the last blog on mobile but I'm fairly confident in botts finding cost effective forwards and nylander/mittelstadt replacing Kane. He's a goal scoring winger who is worse than useless without the puck. Let's not pretend he's some franchise guy. The goal scoring will come when the team can finally move the puck well from the d zone and complete passes with some sort of consistency
I agree. Gerbe and I have differing opinions on who is dead weight.
My list is
Moulson
Gorges
Bogo
Girgs
Larsson
Nolan
Griffith (gone)
Crisuolo
Johnson
Maybe Lehner although I still don't think it's fair to judge with this d - jcragcrumple
girgensons, larsson, nolan would make a hell of a 4th line on a good team

Changing the 4th line is not going to do a damn thing.
You could trade 4th and 5th rd picks right now for 4th liners and it wont change a damn thing.
Girgeosons, Larsson, Pouliot, Nolan are fine bottom 6 players.
Bold moves is what you need, we have enough bottom 6 players. - ImThatGuy
We had bold moves with GMTM, what we need are right moves. I believe GMJB might be making the best moves currently and that's a stealth tank job, everyone knows we need Dahlin or another top line Dman to come out of this upcoming draft.
Another right move is not messing with Rochester, let the kids develop, let them win.
A third may be letting contracts burn themselves out this year: Gorges will be gone at year end, Moulson will be down to 1 year and the buyout shouldn't be much, Johnson gone, Lehner possibly gone, Josefson gone.

Since when is $6.5M a franchise guy?
And once again, you're assuming he wouldn't be even better on a better team.
This team is missing at least two top 6 players (3 for sure if Kane leaves), two top 4 D-men and a Starting goaltender.
We have Nylander, Mittelstadt, Guhle and Ullmark and potential hole fillers there.
Id like to see J-Botts call up some of his contacts in Pitt and try to pry Daniel Sprong from them and possibly a buy lowish candidate like Olli Maatta.

I hope some GM thinks he's a franchise guy (besides Murray)
