If I had some unregulated digital currency that I could exchange at a 1: 11,000 rate of hard currency, I'd sell immediately.

Hextall is a longtime fan favorite in this town. If it were anyone else I think he'd be getting put through the ringer right now.

I'm kind of expecting the radio guys to lay into him heavy today after these comments. Most people weren't probably weren't watching his presser late last night and haven't heard it yet. We'll see.

- hereticpride

I agree.

Because it is Hextall it is kinda looked past.

Could you imagine if this was Homer making these comments?

Yea they have. Ghost has been a wreck. Sanheim has been poor in battles and last night gave up the blue line too easy on the first goal.

Hagg has been ok but is a zero anywhere else but his own end.

Not saying to bench them it’s just something their working through.

Who from last year's defense would you say was a better player than our young guys that you want back ?

And I am fine with that.

For me i think trading Weal is probably one of the easier guys to move and not really effect any future plans. I am not moving guys like Konecny or any or my promising guys in the pipeline.

I am not 100% sure what Weal is at the NHL level. Could he just be another Jason Akeson?

- J35Bacher

He's a much better skater than Akeson, and what he did last season, even in a small sample size, was much more than Akeson ever did at the NHL level. I think he can get you a 3rd line, older vet type who is in the last year of a contract. It's a pretty low risk move for the other team to make.

So those players are the main reasons we have been losing games? You think that Gudas and Manning, 2 of our vets, haven't been as bad/worse culprits?

I actually think that Hagg and Sanheim have been 2 of our top-4 defenders (Provorov and AMac the other 2). Ghost was playing well until he got hurt, and I don't consider him a "young defender" anymore anyway. He's 24 and has 140+ games, he's not some 20-year-old rookie playing his first season.

Not up to those odds. My bitcoin has gone up about 4x my pay price. Litecoin about 20x and etherium about 10x.

I don't know if I'd go so far as to say he's been a wreck, but I realized last night that I'm getting really tired of his free-wheeling style of play that results in nothing at best or a goal for the other team at worst. I'm very glad his contract makes him super easy to trade. I feel like that day may be coming sooner rather than later.

I dont disagree.

One thing I will say, I stand behind Giroux. Guy was put into the role of being the face of the franchise at a very early age. Which was questionable after what had just transpired with Richards. Has been a good soldier on a club that has been an absolute turd for quite a few years.

G is my boy.

- flyer_nutter

Ditto!

I love G and he stands up and takes it night after night.

He has no secondary support. all 3 lines after his, stink!

The fourth line is as bad as it was last season. Different names same results.

Has anyone seen Simmonds the last 10 games? I haven't.

Flip provides nothing, including veteran leadership.

Speaking of leadership, i thought this was one of the reasons they slapped the A on AMac, because of the guy he was in the locker room...

I agree with Hextall's comments. This team is playing well but is shooting themselves in the foot at critical moments but there isnt much you can do except ride it out. You have guys taking on roles they never had before, guys who are having those kinds of games where the puck just wont stay on your stick. This is a young team and the only way to fix it is for the team to gain this experience and find a way through. It is up to the Vets to step up and help, It is kind of like taking a garbage player, putting him up against top talent and telling him to learn to be a better player on his own. That isnt going to happen. As some one who has plays hockey, When I started I wasnt very good. I just picked up a stick and started to play. Sure there were things I picked up one by watching others play but there were many things I learned from other players directly, telling me where I should be without the puck ect. Like this team there are times where I handle the puck like it is a grenade but after a while I became much stronger and started to handle it a lot better.

This team has shown on multiple occasions it has what it takes to win but those key moments when they shoot themselves in the foot is what is costing us those wins. At the same time we need much more from the other players on the ice. The production from the 2nd line down is unacceptable.

84 points form the top line
26 points from the 2nd line (With Weal instead of Martell as he has 0 points)
23 points from our 3rd line
11 points from our 4th line

Our top line almost has double the amount of points of the other 3 lines combined!

Because I'd have so much free time on my hands being a millionaire I would have nothing better to do. All together I could buy about a 700 square ft house in Glassboro with all my digital currency. Just waiting until that goes to 3000 and I'll probably sell. 😂

Agreed. I don't need 20 goals, but 10/15/25 and solid play were in my realm of expectation.

It is every single player on the team. There is no main culprit. Every player on the team is making the same mistakes.

So, just one final question:

Let's say I had 500 bitcoin, and I decide I want to sell it.

Is there a way that, in a matter of minutes, I could have no bitcoin and $5,500,000 in my bank account?
