Any worries about Lyon?
Any worries about Sandstrom? Injury?
Our stacked goalie pipeline has a few leaks. - Konalover
Lyon is having a so-so season.
Not worried about Sandström. Just wish he had opted for the planned surgery in Sept rather thsn trying to play through it. He ended up missing more time than he would have if he'd had the surgery in the first place. But long term, not concerned. He is a good prospect. |

The reason why I say yes is that he is 23 and 2 seasons removed from a 30 goal season. He is also a young player. - MBFlyerfan
Oh i like Galchenyuk. I would do it. Again just depends on the price. I would love to see a top 6 of something like this:
Giroux - Couturier - Voracek
Galchenyuk - Patrick - Simmonds

Did Sandstrom end up having the surgery? It's hard to tell from this article.
https://translate.google....ka-franvaron/&prev=search
Brynäs only 20-year-old goalkeeper Felix Sandström has been completely out of match games and training for two weeks.
Now he breaks the silence about the mysterious injury absence.
"I tried to bite and drive, but it did not work, " says Felix Sandström to Gefle Dagblad. |

I would explore a deal there. Have to love GM’s who are under obvious pressure.
Look to Montreal and Edmonton to pillage. Want nothing to do with Nuge though. |

Lyon: Not really, only because I never thought he was going to be an NHL goalie anyway
Sandstrom: Only if he keeps on getting hurt, a injury or 2 though, is nothing to lose sleep over.
Plus you still have Hart who is playing phenomenal right now and the Russian kid who's name I'm not even going to try and spell, who is putting up unreal numbers in Europe and is still under 20, IIRC.
DOn't see any reason to worry at this time.

A few leaks in the pipeline implies the pipeline is starting to fail or is currently failing, which it isn't.
Lyon's shine is fading, and Sandstrom will get back to form soon. He was playing really well prior to this and once it heals up he'll come back around after the surgery. It's not like it's mysterious, they're going in and fixing it. He's no Hart, but he's no slouch either.
Maybe I'm just a Richard. Maybe it's the fact that I have the sickly aches at work and am firehosing Tylenol. Maybe it's because the system went down when I came in this morning. Maybe it's all of the above! But I think it's mainly the first one. - Giroux_Is_God

Success and winning is what creates confidence. Another coach would still need the tools on the ice and maturation of young players to get there. - MJL
Wow, just wow. I give you an example of exactly how a coaching change helped a team improve during the season and you just utterly disregard it. Honestly, does a coach even matter at all? You know what? Never mind. It's my fault. I should know better by now.

Laughton hasn’t showed anything other than being an NHL 4th line C.
The St Louis first is going to not be a top 20 pick it seems.
Montreal would murder their GM if he made that trade, and rightfully so. - flyer_nutter
Oh hell yeah, which is why I said i would make the deal.

Damn right. That’s an amazing deal for the Flyers. Don’t think Bergy is that dumb though.
I would dangle out Myers at this point. The injuries are more than worrisome. Gudas and maybe Simmonds in my eyes should be dealt this deadline. |

I like seeing guys that play way over their head night in night out for a coach that has a certain "IT" to motivate them beyond their god given talents. |

Hex has obviously more than committed to Hak. He is our man one way or another.
That may not end up in Hextall’s favour either - but we will see.

Love hate. The international students are all older and too professional. Can’t document for poop.
The young ones from university are hot but slackers. |

Incorrect. Though I do enjoy both bourbon and rye, I'll still go for a good single malt scotch over all.
