Tom and Martys?? - feetontheair22
Was never a fan of their wings. Down your way was Alligers (sp?) and they were good, I prefer Wingz in Endicott.
You can get the peanut butter wings that you dip in fluff. It's nice for a change in pace. But I'l like their country sweet hot. |

Can't go wrong with Alligers. Mario's in Owego is probably some of my favorite wings in the area, but you have to make sure they don't package them wrong or they go from just the right amount of crispy to super soggy |

Didn’t detract from your point though
We had a potential future defense group of:
Zadorov-Ristolainen
McCabe-Myers
McNabb-Pysyk
Not only did he trade away 4/6 of what looked to be a pretty good potential defense...
the Defensemen he’s brought in haven’t worked at all
With only Guhle in the pipeline,
and maybe Borgen
GMTM utterly failed as far as the defense goes - jdfitz77
the forward group isn't looking fantastic either.....

Brian Campbell and Ryan Miller come to mind as players of late we've drafted after the 4th round who have been very successful.
Late round picks are what they are, lottery picks. If you look at the late round "steals" they're by different teams every year. It really is a game of chance to a certain extent. - RhinoFan
Agreed. But certain teams to appear to be better at the development of these guys than others, Detroit and Tampa come to mind. Still, with the Sabres being a bottom feeder most season, we have an above average amount of picks, and yet really find it hard to produce NHL players with our picks.
I used to have a lot more faith, believed things like M.A.G. was going to be really good, Girgensons would become a lesser style of Toews with his die-hard attitude to succeed, Mancari would be a part of the Sabres core moving forward. But, now I'm very much lets wait and see with this organization, too many disappointments with our prospects. I don't know what happens to that little flame of potential guys seem to have when we get them, but once we get our hands on them it seems to become extinguished. Maybe, GMJB will change that now that he's at the helm, maybe not. |

I like our forward group’s potential
Kane-Eichel-Reinhart
_____-O’Reilly-Okposo
Nylander-Mittelstadt-_____
Now if we lose Kane, & Okposo doesn’t get back to playing well...
then we have issues
Otherwise, we have 2 slots to fill where we need a couple of our “b” prospects to work out
Bailey, Baptiste, Rodrigues, Fasching & Cj Smith are all basically ready
Asplund, Olofsson & Pu not far behind
Even if u do subtract Kane & Okposo...
then we only need 4/8 of those other guys to “hit” |

I know people might not agree, but I really think Smith and E.Rod are the most ready prospects we have. These guys did not look out of place at the NHL level when they were given chances, and clearly they are excelling at the AHL level.

I thought Bailey looked good when he was on O’Reilly’s line
Then he was dropped to the 4th line for some dumb reason
Baptiste has never been given decent icetime when called up
I think all four of them could be up here now & id like it better than Criscuolo, Griffith, Moulson, etc etc etc
Our bottom6 has been a joke when it comes to scoring
But I get what Botterill is doing keeping the youth in Rochester |

Paul Hamilton prepping for a comeback? Heard he's on kale and gluten free diet.
Does Bott's take a chance? He'd come cheap and hell he was almost and Olympian.
I don't see how he could make the power play any worse?

I'm wavering on Nylander....he's played 71 game in the AHL and only scored 31 points....only 11 goals. and -30... Color me NOT impressed. |

I agree with Bap not having been given a fair shot, and I do think him and Bailey will be NHLers in the near future. But, as of right now, E.Rod and Smith seem to show less growing pains adapting to the NHL level. I think bring them in first can actually help others in Rochester make the transition. |

Fair
But lots of guys struggle throughout their 1st year in the AHL
I’m not surprised
If his stats look like that again at the end of this season,
then I’ll be concerned |

Who do they have him on a line with? Get him the best center we have and get him taking all the shots, this kid just needs confidence that he can be a sniper at the professional level. If we wait on getting him going we'll have another Armia. |
