Henrique is a more complete player and responsible in all zones and on the PK, he wont put up the points Kane can but the other aspects of the game i believe Henrique is better at, and is known as a leader, also kane if i am not mistaken has a history of missing games every season due to injury

Why the (frank) would any team want Henrique for any specific reason? There is nothing exceptional about him as a player. He isn't a faceoff specialist, he isn't a great penalty killer, he isn't a sniper, he isn't a play-maker and he was groomed within one of the most obnoxious, yet effective, defensive systems within all of hockey.

He is a ROR-lite and that's saying a lot, because you know how many of us hopped aboard the "ROR-Hate Hype-Train" recently...

I don't live close to Buffalo so I don't really get the chance to check them all out. So the best i've had so far is Anchor Bar....doesn't mean I have a position on those other places.

Thanks for retorting to me exactly what everyone else who's ever said anything about Adam Henrique has said.

You can even call me crazy, here and maybe I'm the only one who thinks this but Henrique is an average, responsible hockey player. He does nothing fancy or exceptional. He is the Medium size guy from the NES game Ice Hockey. Maybe you can try to spin this into "That's what makes him special" but no. He isn't.

He's also been on a team that redefined how you play defense at the NHL level for the past 8 years.

I don't think he's bad, because he isn't. But we'll see how he does in the Western Conference and where he ends up fitting into Anaheim's roster going forward. I'm admittedly a little salty because I don't think high of Henrique, he's a solid player if nothing else, and I thought we had comparables to offer that had more upside for Vatanen.

All that said. You don't win at Ice Hockey with a team of the medium sized guys. You win with the Skinny Dude (Evander Kane). So long as he's on the wing and you have a Fat Guy or two to break the other team's Skinny Dude in half. And to protect your Skinny Dude from the other team's Fat Guy.

Anaheim: 11 centers out of 19 forwards either injured or called-up; could trade 2 more defenseman and still have a solid blue-line. They have 1 legit winger. Not getting any younger and the Getzlaf/Perry "core" only has a window of a few more seasons, at best, of which, Henrique might not even be a part of unless Anaheim is already set on singing him long-term...

New Jersey: I'll go as far as to say I'm not surprised by the season they're having. Great goalie who was acquired at the wrong point in his career but hopefully has a few years left to have success with a young team that's just as far removed from the team they were 3 years ago as the Sabres, Oilers, Coyotes and Maple Leafs.

Funny how the team that tanked with dignity and the team that played with dignity are the good ones from that group...
