Hell of a pass from zone of the few bright spots, Carolina is inevitably bad |

An absolutely great start to the game. Give up a goal, on the first shot of the game for the Canes. 56 second in to boot. Now they generate ZERO shots on the power play.
Just give the 2 points to the Canes and don't make me waste the 2 and half hours. - tomburton99

Rangers were dog poop for the final half of the period, no effort only lazy stick swings, 13 shots through two periods, thanks Scott Darling for another gift |

Final score is very misleading, Hank led them after the early goal |

They're not all pretty, but 2 points is 2 points. 5-1 in the last 6 I believe? 11-3 since November started. Are we really complaining?
Edit: Not saying ur post is u complaining. |

is it ok that Buchnevich wasn't out there getting "usage" on that final powerplay or should we get Congress involved? |

of course I'd be interested though |

There’s just no way the Rangers are taking on any big contract without Staal’s coming off not only for this season but more importantly the future
I feel like they need another RH shot and one who can score up front as well as more production from the Hayes line and more goals from Miller |

Would love to have Draisaitl, but cost would be VERY steep. I would imagine a package along the lines of MacDonaugh, Andersson, DeAngelo and a first rounder would be the opening of negotiations.
This would be the biggest trade for the Rangers since getting Messier and Leon is only 22 years old so it wont be cheap! |

Congress, ..., I meant trump, have much more to worry about now, than get involved with hockey. That doesn't mean, however, that he finally will get his chance to tweet bad things again starting today against some NFL, NBA, or college athletes for the obvious reason. His staff must have used great defense in preventing him from using his device, in not making a single tweet today after all the very, very, very, bigly bad news that suddenly & shockingly broke for him today without any warning.
Uh oh, it's about midnight Friday, heading into Saturday, and the day of the week that he tweets the most, including the bad. |

Good news is, Trump has probably never seen a hockey game.
Could you imagine Trump at MSG? |

The sad thing in common that you, others, and I have with D.T. is that he has attended (for himself) at least one Rangers game at MSG that I can remember some years back. But I don't think he will be doing so any longer.
Could you imagine him attending an NFL game anywhere except for in Dallas possibly, if only sitting by his well loved owner of their's? |

I didn't vote for either bumhole as I despise both Repugnicans and Democraps. Wasn't trying to get political at all. Trying to imagine Trump at a hockey game looking confused, asking what's going on after every whistle. Why did they stop? Was that a goal? Why not? Icing? Penalty? Etc...

A player you mentioned in your proposal above, in McDonagh turned out to be one of their "biggest trades" since the one for Messier. But it's hard to compare any Rangers trade's ranking status made after acquiring Messier, which would have his magnitude, in knowing already that he delivered his promise to lead them to a Stanley Cup win.
In addition, the salary cap era has prevented teams from making their "biggest (name) trades in years", although 2 big trades not due to any salary cap or upcoming free agency eligibility have already been made this season between COLR./OTT. and NJ/Anaheim. Draisaitl is only affordable by some teams, without a large dollar contract going the other way. Similarly, the return for Edmonton must be financially and cap affordable, and worth it for them in player(s) & asset(s) exchange. |
