Now here is something I can get onboard with!!!
Knowing how he played here, if they can do a cheap swap and buy low, bring him back and put him with guys he is comfortable with and get him back to playing like he did last year which made him enticing to Vegas.
Also helps center depth, and he is cheap - MiloslavHorava
I think Boo is just as good as Lindberg. Unless it was for like a 3rd rounder, I wouldn't want him back, just doesn't make much sense. |

Marc Staal is on Eklund's rumor chart
of course I can't see his rumor chart because I am not a fancy season ticket holder |

Very Fair. I'm not looking at him as a center on the top two lines. I think he would be good at 3C or 4C and think he adds value there for the Rangers who have a gap there.
I have never expected him to be an offensive star who will be relied on for his scoring, but more of a reliable two way player who you can trust to make the right play and you don't have to worry about from a defensive positioning / play standpoint.
And if you can get him back without giving much up (All depends on what Vegas would ask for) I think it is worth looking into.
Fair? - MiloslavHorava
Fair to me.

So if you could have a third rounder, or even someone like DD and an even lower pick, would that be something you might be interested in?
Having Lindberg and Boo as your bottom two centers? That would be nice for the cap and would put JT back on the wing. |

Rangers may have gotten steal in 6th round this year with Morgan Barron:
Neal Purcell

The Rangers’ sixth round pick is making waves in the Division I College Hockey world. |

Maybe some of their scouts actually know what they're doing. |

That would be an ideal scenario. Really like what I've seen from Boo so far, and being able to put Oskar on the 3rd or 4th line would help stabilize the bottom 6. |

11th goal of the season for Vladimir Tkachyov tonight. 22-year-old reigning Rookie of Year has 26 points in 31 KHL games w/ an Admiral club (very) unlikely to make playoffs.

On Tkachyov because people have asked quite a bit: He is not a member of the #NYR system nor do they have dibs on him due to camp invite last year. No reason to think mutual interest does not still stand though. |

Yeah, I mean as much as I dislike DD, he shows spurts like last game where he was fantastic. I don't think Lindberg has that level of play. Although Lindberg is much more steady and sturdier. |

I just dont think there's a chance that Vegas has any interest in giving Lindberg away, in fact, probably a good chance it would take an asset we wouldn't want to move
they dont need any more draft picks, they have a bushel of them the next few years and they are competing for division. I keep waiting for them to fall back a little, it's crazy how they are doing. |

I think they fizzle towards the mid-end of the season.
I'm probably completely wrong and somehow they win the cup. |

if they do fizzle out the guys they are going to look to deal are their pending UFA's like Marchessault, Neal and Perron

Yeah how did he slide away after putting up 24-40-64pts in 76 games in his rookie AHL season? |

Yeah I don't think they are looking to shop him, just a what if scenario. I'm just not sure even if he was available he does much for the team. |
