And then he didn't work hard enough to keep his skating in a passable state, and when he couldn't skate anymore he didn't start hitting, and when he wasn't scoring, he didn't take responsibility for not scoring. He deserves to cash the rest of his paychecks, and that's it imo

Depends if the training issues were true or not. If he resigned and then neglected working out over the summer, no reason to appreciate the sign on. I get what you're saying though. I don't dislike the man, just am tired of him taking a spot from a better player.

probably not, but didn't by all accounts he love it here? just saying, hes the opposite of the kind of person we love to hate around here. sadly it didn't work out. at all.

I understand what you are saying, but no other team was offering a $25 mil contract, so he was just following the money and he stopped trying (working out) after it was signed.
