Duchene had 41 pts and was a -34 for the tire fire Avs last year. You'd probably have to take salary back but they wouldn't have trouble getting good value in the deal.

And people are talking about championship teams, they want to skip the make the playoffs, miss the playoffs, go farther in the playoffs, disappoint, disappoint, maybe miss the playoffs, and then contenders.

Why? Like I said, to salvage the playoffs, they're out already, no trade will make that happen. It's more important that they stay the course on the tank and get the best d-man possible. They need to rotate prospects up here and get them understanding what NHL play is like. They really need to get bad contracts off this team and Gorges will be done at the end of the season. Moulson can be bought out. But, yeah, if they can swing a trade to move Okposo, I'm listening.

I'd do something not for making the playoffs but to just get some of the younger guys here out of their funk. or to increase the trade value of some of these other players.

What we were expecting is to have an uptempo, bubble team...nayb3 in, maybe not.
Now, the Sabres are in 31st place and are playing at a level that will fall short of the Tank years when the organization was TRYING TO LOSE!

We have gone through what 4 years already to find out we are back at square 1 to start unloading players, securing “currency”, so in another 2 years we can be “clean” and ready to begin ascending the ranks. It ain’t 3 years.

Meanwhile, Toronto, Carolina, NJ, Winnipeg ran by them.
