Agreed just with his style of play usually players like him tend to decline faster and I'm very hesitant to give him a contract past 3 years

we have room with the Cap going up significantly, Gorges coming off the books after this season, and a potential Moulson trade

In he long term...
the Cap will continue to go up & if not, the coming lockout is gonna give us the chance for compliance buyouts again that won’t affect our Cap
If Moulson can’t be traded/bought out this offseason, his contract is up after next, same with Pominville
And Bogo is gone the next year

The only long term $$$ we have locked up is in Jack, O’Reilly, Okposo & Ristolainen

Seems to me like we have all kinds of Cap Room
