Maybe on this board, but I get the sense fans are generally fine with him. Fans like his throwback look (missing teeth, no visor) and appreciate his play.

For some reason on this board, people see $7.5m and start flipping out about the cap. Btw, his assist last night: he's one of 2 people on the team who can make that play.

Fans do not like Reinhart who is perceived as soft and a perimeter player. I do not disagree

It's not that folks don't like him, it's that for a number 2 overall pick he hasn't progressed enough and it's been almost 3 years. Now some could say we have had different systems and coaches but things should be moving along quicker.

He can bring us a good D man, it will be 3 years and his progress has been very slow.

Botterill figured he would be set with ROR, Eichel, Okposo, Reinhart and Pommer but that hasn't worked out as of yet, that's why he focused on the Defense that's been horrible. Now he might have to shift gears with the Forwards along with fixing the Defense.

They want more then 50 points from him but it's kind of hard to move along with this team with all the changes they keep making. There are a couple teams that have interest in him.

what i dont get is lots of reinharts goals in the first 2 years were dirty area goals. he'd always be the guy planted in front of the net.

Larsson like Girgensons are cheap contracts but Girgensons needs to start doing something.
