They are tanking for a fresh start. I mean, the government is keeping the truth behind this. They started the fires with lasers mounted at the top of the ant farm we live in.

you know, I never thought of that
briere, drury and 4 first rd picks
kind of telling of what danny thinks/thought of vanek - homiedclown
had we signed both briere and drury i don't think that offer sheet for Vanek gets put on the table.. i have a feeling the oilers were just trying to screw us cap wise because of what dumb dumb said about matching any offer sheet

I think the offer still happens, but it may be less money and therefore less picks. Also, maybe we would have had the chance to trade Vanek (or sign him on the cheap, to be with the winning team) short term. Who knows, signing both of those guys would have changed a lot of things.

I think it still happens, only because they did the same thing with Dustin Penner

I didn't hear it was that much but they did want Guhle also in the deal. - SABRES 89
That’s quite a bit, glad Botts said no.
I still have hope that McCabe will be a so.id contributor on this team going forward...but if other teams place a high value on him then I certainly would let him go.
Reinhart I torn on...only because his bridge deal will be relatively cost controlled given his production this year. On the other hand, I am very disappointed in him so again if he can garner the Sabres decent value on the market I would not shed a tear in him being dealt.

Jordan Subban was just traded to LA Kings. Anyone sad we missed out on that potential trade? I know he is not NHL ready now, but thats almost better. - Lilroot9

Not cool .. I had to stay in a hotel - GERBE!!!75PTS
Ya, I don’t get the hope by some in seeing disaster at the expense of others.
Saw it with this fire and with the hurricanes.
Missing some ingredients in their DNA.
Jordan Subban seems to be putting up around 0.5 points per game in AHL at 22 years old, so I would consider he too. But does this mean, call Vancouver? I think they just traded for a center to help their chances since Bo Hovart went down. Do they need a LW? lol
I just upgraded my FIOS internet from 75/75 mbps to 980/780mbps and saved 20.00 a month Thanks Fios... Next call is to cancel Direct TV.... and save another 140.00 a month.
FYI no contract required for this upgrade but they do charge 150.00 because they have to change out the Box Fios that comes into the house., as well as there crappy router. - gordong
The router that FIOS offers with their service is one of the best routers on the market.

I like McCabe met him in October when they were here, good guy. I think he's a good player and plays with an edge and we need that. I'm torn in Reinhart also.

my guess is if he was going to be good, the return would have been better than a 7th rd pick, dowd, who has the point production similar to jordan nolan

He was a 2nd overall pick and that holds some weight with Botterill, how much remains to be seen. I doubt we get a ton for him but the interest is there.
