Simon has only had a handful of games in the NHL, but he honestly looked mediocre. Could he be better now having played more pro hockey? Sure, but I highly doubt he can bring more than Rowney, let alone Hagelin.

Might not, but it's about time to have a look. We all know we need more guys chipping in offensively, might as well try an internal option. Giving him a few more minutes would help evaluate him.

Goalies are a funny thing. I don't think I'm going out on a limb when I say that every year there seems to be a young goalie that gets called up and is very impressive then just falls into obscurity.

Agree with this. Goaltenders can be so volatile year to year. It's good to have two.

Does anyone else query why Guentzy's first puck in net wasn't a goal? He didn't throw it in the net, the same if it is redirected accidentally by a skate?

He tried to catch the puck and drop it to his stick, but it went off his hand and into the net, not allow to redirect a puck into the net with your hand, the intent was to hit/catch the puck, so it wasn't an accidental redirect, he was trying to catch the puck.

Also, you are allowed to intentionally redirect the puck with your skate, just no kicking motions allowed.
