You can't separate the leagues because it starts a whole new set of parameters, the CHL is the CHL. - LeftCoaster
CHL is 3 leagues and you are comparing it to 1 |

Agreed. Getting Linden Vey/Mason Raymond vibes from him.
People can laugh at Chaput/Gaunce, but these guys do the little things that Green likes so I'm sure they'll keep getting games. - Nucker101
Exactly. It's not hard to see that a large group of fans are looking at what they do in the mindset of fans... not coaches.
Gaunce had another solid game down low and along the boards. He seems faster this season as well... again again he seems to get chances he doesnt finish... a coach would love those to be goals of course but the second best thing in their eyes is which end of the ice the a+ chances are at when he throws a line out. |

Bad team, good future. - VanHockeyGuy
Yup.
I don't get too worked up about this season, just want to see Jake and Brock develop. Maybe another young one step up as well.
That was all I was hoping for this season.
Also hoping to see Demko get a cup of coffee |

Lefty...Hmmm... coach yelling "Get back on the left side!!!!" is how you got your nickname perhaps?
- boonerbuck
More like see that spot at the end of the bench, sit there and watch until you figure out how to play at both ends. One missed assignment in major junior was a major no-no. In junior A it was fine, huge step up from junior A to major junior. |

He would be in Seattle to get that and I am hoping he makes it with Canucks not the Seattle Storm.😁 |

No I'm comparing major junior hockey across the country, the Canadian Hockey League, to a junior league across another country, the United States Hockey League.
They separate it into three leagues for obvious logistical reasons and to protect players from being taken too far away from their home region.
There are six or seven different leagues in NCAA division one hockey. It just complicates things when you try to separate them out. |

Evidently not. That's why they're in the lineup. There's a reason Green was playing them more than a typical 4th line when the team was defending the lead. |

I would really love to see a reset on our D from TDL through summer. Out: Edler, Hutton, Guddy if he doesnt want to resign for no more than he's getting currently to stay in Van.
I think Tanev would be good for the young D coming in. Always a steady defender available to give them space and time to hone their skills. I'd be happy to continue working with more young raw talent like Stetcher as long as it's not he and Hutton at the same time. Del Zotto feels like he's been a steady Canuck for seasons already for some reason. Keeper for now... in comes OJ and another free agent or two...
I'll settle with just Edler gone to be honest |
