toews puts up .86 points per game

ror puts up .63 points per game

toews has his name on the cup, twice

toews also puts up .86 points per playoff games

ror led teams don't make the playoffs

- homiedclown

Toews is also a GREAT leader. Something this team does not have at all.

You're purposefully inflating Toews's stats from his glory days and including past successes. Has making 10m. ROR has matched his production in recent years.

We're not talking about 2009 Toews. I'm talking about 2017 Toews.

Everyone has this fixation with the salary cap all of a sudden. Guess what a #2 world cup center who plays all three phases and scores in the upper eschalons of 2nd line centers costs? It's 7.5 million. Plenty of scapegoats on this team. ROR isn't one

Dude you're lying to yourself if you believe the midichlorian children's movie starring Jar Jar mother(frank)ing Binks is better than Force Awakens
- jcragcrumple

Phantom Menace is the most underrated film in the entire Star Wars canon.

Set design was brilliant. Costumes were fantastic. CGI, believe it or not, only made up about 15% of the film. It was all sets, models and post-production.

People wanted rah-rah Jedi gang-banging. We got a Darth Vader origin story.

You take all the criticism of TPM and apply it to every one of the OG Trilogy and they have the same exact issues with bad acting, pacing, dialogue and melodrama.

IMO, Phantom Menace is the only Star Wars film to capture the nostalgia and magic of the original films.

People will perpetually tear it apart because everyone went in with their own expectations of a film that they had no clue about except Darth Vader is a kid.

The worst fanbases on the internet are: Dragon Ball, Star Wars, Star Trek and Buffalo fans.

Trust me, Phantom Menace was brilliant.

Force Awakens had a Jar Jar character played by John Boyega. And everything about it is an insult to established Star Wars canon. You want to talk about being a fan of Star Wars? Try reading the novels, comics and playing the videogames and studying the lore extensively....

Force Awakens was a travesty.

again, one produces in the playoffs, one fails to get his team to the playoffs

ror is suppose to be one of the main leaders to get us in the playoffs this season and that clearly is not happening

I will take 2 cups and suffer as a blah team for 8 years that may or may not advance past the first rd over a team that has not won a playoff series in 10 plus seasons and missed the playoffs way too often lately

Careful... can’t say bad things about the guy that hates to loose....
Even though he’s a reason they’re loosing. Maybe our future captain will be drafted this year.

There's a good chance he does resign him however...................the Defense needs to be rebuilt.
- SABRES 89

From my " insider"
Kane's caused very little trouble and has kept his nice clean .
Jbotts will not be resigning kane
Jbotts is trying to package kane with another player. Nj, st. Louis, Anahiem are the leading destinations
Jbotts is looking for college and ahl prospects or basically a guy a year or 2 from the nhl
Sabres need to wait to closer to the deadline, because the teams that have interest (for a rental) are up against the cap and need us to pay $. Which we are willing to do.

I'll take .38 ppg, 42% on the faceoff if the guy can lead and motivate us in the playoffs. Toews toughness and ability to lead trumps all. I agree 100%. His mediocre stats play no role in the conversation.

So we're talking intangibles and ignoring the superior roster that Toews captained

Until Moulson and Griffith were gone, we had the worst bottom 6 in the league. The defense is largely made up of 3rd pairing guys and wasn't healthy until 25 games into the season.

We have 2 third liners (Pouliot and pominville) playing in the top 6. But this is RORs fault. Got it

Not all on him. But, he is NOT a leader. You think Toews would let the cry baby female dog on this team trash his locker and throw poop around right next to him while he was being interviewd?
