he busted his a$$ in rehab to make it back for our last playoff game

I have no issue with him

Derek Roy in his prime would be the best player on this team most nights

no clue

if they were average on the pp we would be higher in the standings though

and jack and ror get part of that blame

they had no business being in that hawk game, and the first team pp for the sabres is the main reason we lost a game

- homiedclown

Yes...
that’s completely fair

But that doesn’t mean they aren’t part of the answer going forward

Kane turned around to pursue Tarasenko because he had already blown by Jack. Jack stopped moving his feet and let Tarasenko go by him. If what your saying is true what is Jack's assignment after Kane takes Tarasenko? Vlad did what was available to do because Jack did nothing.

Bottom line is they have jobs to do. If Kane takes Tarasenko then the whole slot is wide open. Kane probably expected Jack to do something. Jack did nothing. I'm a big fan of his spread your legs and poke check technique. I'm sure that worked quite well in college. Next time you want to keep someone outside keep them outside. Heaven fracking forbid Jack should make physical contact with somebody.

You guys want to give him a free pass, have at it. I think you're wrong. I have explained why. Have a great day.

- staples

Yes, they do, and not a single one of us on here knows exactly what they're instructed to do. All we can really rely on is what they(players and coaches) say. Jack said he pushed him wide because he thought he had help behind. Now let's say he did have help behind and Jack also pursued. 2 guys converge on Tarasenko near the boards, all he has to do is dump it off and it's a 2 on 1. Those aren't great odds either. And finally, let's remember that Lehner's poke check worked, he just happened to get really unlucky.

It's the "fan paradox". It's always "our guys sucks" instead of "the other guy made a hell of a play" like the Sharks game when Couture I think? tucked the shot right up under the bar from a bad angle and everyone was all like "stupid lenner!" instead of "wow that was a great shot". Because we can't handle giving props to the other side.

He's got 14 giveaways and 23 takeaways this year and over his career has 226 GV and 585 TK. Also is 61% on the dot. He's not the problem. I don't think anyone compared him to Drury, but said he's the best 2 way forward since Drury.
- adambuffalo

Is also say he’s the most over rated player since Drury. And I like both ROR and Drury, but people talked like they were annual Selke winners

What? No. Vanek and to a lesser extent pominville made Roy look like a star. They also got coho paid, made Adam look passable for 25 games, made ott seem fine and almost made Ville an NHL player.

I once took a picture with Pat LaFontaine as a child. I must have been 10. Right around the age he likes...

Anyway, he adjusted my cap very aggressively and pulled me in real close like with his arm around me...

In hindsight, thank god I was there with family.

hoffman has wheels right?

ceci is just another mccabe in the mix, fine for bottom pair but we start 5 or 6 of them every night already

- homiedclown

Hoffman is very good. And he's a LW. I wouldn't mind him taking Kane's spot if we had to get rid of him. He's having a good season, a little behind his goal pace the past few seasons. But on pace to roughly match his career high in points(61). Though he always misses time, on average ~5 games a season, so he'd probably get a rough ride here. He also goes cold, like every other goal scorer on Earth, so that would probably be another ding on him.

Dude was a straight up piece of sh!t

He really the only guy I ever had personally seen act in a way that’s unacceptable in public

I’ve seen guys act douchy towards girls,
but that’s how drunk guys act in bars
Not excusing it,
but it wasn’t anything major either

I have heard stories about some shady things happening once girls went home with some guys, or to a “party”
But I wasn’t at any of those events,
so I’d rather not spread that stuff around

I’ve also had GREAT experiences with a lot of the guys

Steve Ott is super cool & down to earth
Great dude
Enroth’s gf is a friend of mine, so I’ve hung out with them a bunch
Myers was pretty nice, very shy
Ryan Miller was quiet in public, except for a few times I saw him hammered.
That was funny stuff
Miller’s dad was pretty cool to talk to
They used to come into Coles every time his dad was in town. It was his fav place in buffalo
Miller also lived right around the corner from me in the Elmwood village

Most of the guys I’ve met were pretty good dudes

Not a Sabre,
but JP Losman was probably my fav Bills player I’ve hung out with
Really nice dude
Funny
Loved Buffalo
I was bummed it didn’t work out for him here

if ror and eichel were these great players, we would be knocking on the door for playoffs in year 3

jack is half the player mathews is

ror right now is a 3rd line center paid to be a fringe number 1 center

why does ror show more heart and emotion for team canada than the team that plays him 7.5 mil per?

- homiedclown

Homie- you are always optimistic, don't let the other posters bring you down.

This is the plan #stealthtank

Draft another 2 high end talents, hopefully hit big on 1. Come out of the tank like Toronto.
