Dano is thrown into every trade offer I make because he deserves playing time. Vesalainen, Dano, a first, a 2nd line Center, and a top pairing dman. They aren’t dealing from a position of strength.

... why? That’s not an overpayment, so you’d think you’d be in favour of trading for the best dman in the world for two declining assets, an unproven prospect, and a top 9 forward our coach hates.

I completely agree with sitting Hendricks every few games, it will keep him fresh and motivated to prove he belongs - full of piss and vinegar! If he gets too complacent, his play suffers. Integrating Dano every now and then is a positive.

I don't think Maurice does a very good job of rotating players into the lineup, especially on long road trips and back-to-back games. I don't understand why you wouldn't want to inject some highly motivated fresh players into the lineup, when the team needs it most.

They are a 7 but when he wears blue they pop a little more and it's bumped up to an 8

There’s this thing people do where they get really angry when young players get shafted by bad coaches who play aging plugs in favour of them. See Tampa with Drouin, Montreal with Galchenyuk, and Columbus with Johansen for more recent examples.

Big difference is that trading Johansen got Seth Jones in return. Trading Drouin got Sergahev in return. Don't yet know what Galchenyuk will net.

Dano is not in the same hemisphere as those guys. He would help his cause if would have come to camp in shape. I don't think the kid cares enough or is dedicated enough to be a great player...or even a very good player.

Drouin, Johansen (and Galchenyuk) are/were with thier first teams, Winnipeg is the 3rd team ready to pass Dano along for salvage value. It can't be a coincidence - everyone is looking for an undervalued player and no one is beating down the door with offers. He will be part of a trade package or waived. Moving along now...

and his points per 60 min while with the Jets are higher than anyone we have on the 3rd or 4th line not named Perreault but the guy just didn't come to camp ready this year...again.

Wrong-way Rexy. Your living in the past. It was a four player deal. Anisomov was a key players as well. Next thing you are going to tell us is that because the Blackhawks traded Panarin for Saad in the off-season that equates to Dano = Panarin....lol Give it a break !
