I dont think they played bad, I just thought they looked really out of sync. Two young guys, who have typically been covered by veterans up to this point in their career, looked to have a hard time figuring out how they were going to play together.

Bobbling pucks, awkward/hesitant looking rushes, and a few moments of panic just made me wonder why they are together. They have looked much better when paired with one of Edler, Tanev and MDZ

- WhiteLie

They probably shouldn't be together. It's like Hutton and Gudbranson. Edler and Tanev. No matter what, these pairings will never ever fit together.

Only Vet presence is Edler really and (frank) I think Vantel is right about him being the 3rd Sedin just from a different father.

Jets are tied with the Leafs for third overall in the NHL league standings, I didn't realize they were so good this year. Goaltending is much improved and they're playing well.

Goals against really improved compared to last year, 10th best in the league.

It's getting to the point where I can't keep up with donations to the families I know that are victimized by cancer.
- golfingsince

its everywhere.

and it is a sht show.
hate it when people say there is a cure but big pharma or whoever says it is more profitable to have people suffer.

had a buddy who's brother died, they found a tumor in his brothers brain, was gone in about 5 years. he wondered if they didn't treat it if his brother would have lived longer?

cancer sucks.

what is more depressing Canucks or cancer?

Yeah what did they do wrong?
- manvanfan

Give away after give away. They both need to be in Utica.

Its like you say, both have played very few games. I am not sure if Green was challenging them to hold their own or simply rewarding Pouliot but this experiment shouldnt last long if they want to spread minutes out across all 3 pairings

Solid Whitey, but you have been told wrong, itโ€™s actually the lack of talented players not the coaching...3 years running and still going on.

The sword or the wielder?

Awesome, I was hoping this would come back around in time for Christmas!

So i was playing some dnd the other day and my character, who had no attack points, I mean like a plus 1 and he found a level 99 eleven Kingsword of leveling up, the thing does massive damage with a plus 50 speed as well as leveling my character up to level 100, dope right?

Anyways my character sucks but with this sword he rips ass.

So is out the weapon that makes him so great? Or the wielder that allows him to kill goblins at a quick rate?

Before when he was battling with a cudgel he just got his ass kicked all the time....

I'm voting the sword is mite important then the coach.
I'd say that a coach is at tops a 5 percent modifier while a player can be anywhere from a level 1 (guance) to a level 99 (Greztky).

Best thing that happened to the Jets this year was Mason getting concussed and then having to rely on Hellebyuck, the kid's getting his shot and making the best of it.

Pronman article on WJC Snubs:

Rasmussen, Detroit: You could argue he could be a net-front guy on the power play, but returning member Taylor Raddysh likely takes that job, and Jonah Gadjovich could be better at that as of now.

A nice comment for a second rounder in comparison to a top-10 pick

Man he's terrible, if he's not giving away pucks, he's on his a$$, and when he's not doing either of those things, he's missing every shot he takes. I hate how the kids are 100% liable for their mistakes, yet vets arn't....At some point I'd love to see Holm get a shot, he's been sitting in the press box since Nov 20th, i don't think it would hurt to give either of the turnover kids, Hutton/Stecher a night to think about their mistakes.

Holm was injuried in a Utica game. Edler needs blame just as much as the rest of the D. I didn't see any Stecher/Hutton mistakes last game. Game before Hutton had a good mistake that lead to a goal. They didn't cost the team a win last night, they also didn't help. A lot like Gaunce.

Probably have a few too many of those types right now. Thanks to injuries.

Gadjovich - McLeod - Lind

2nd line at Canada's practice

- Codes1087

Would like to see either one of the McLeod brothers in our system.

Maybe Devils would consider Baertschi and Gudbranson for Michael and a 3rd.๐Ÿ˜

Hellebuyck played 56 games last year and struggled, he's just improved this year, he's young. Luckily they didn't give up on him like the Oilers did with Dubnyk.

Was just thinking, this years been great so far.

- had been fun to watch (Injuries suck)
- we were playoffs or close (still are kinda but sinking fast)
- young guys playing well, top line was hot but 2/3 gone
- boeser is ridiculous
- less sedins but chipping in
- vanek will have some value
- jv much better
- some top prospects having great years
- guddy been a bit better, hope he plays well when back and gets something or signs a reasonable deal. No way he walks for nothing.
- depending of demko is ready, I think we get good Value out of Nielsen too

Our D is bad and it shows. Would have been nice for at least one young guy to step up.

Need some D men this year. Trading is just to hard.

Edler is a dumpster fire. I agree with Nucker he has actually regressed in his play...he was never that stupid with the puck before.

Would anyone but Gaunce given the minutes and zone starts and PP time; chip in as much but be able to back check? Then the Sedin's

I'm a bit annoyed Vanek took 3 half slappers from in close.

I'd rather Trade Markstrom, more expensive then Nilsson.

I cant see them trading Markstrom unless his value skyrockets. He's the last piece of a Luongo deal that Aquillini is still paying for, as long as the retained salary is still on the books I have a feeling that he'll be around

Agree but we need to make sure Demko is ready and not rush him in.

But Markstrom might get some value for a backup on a PO team hard to say.
