Next season is the last contract year for Edler, I doubt he would be as classy as Burrow's was and waive at the TDL. |

Meh.
When fully healthy (rare) and playing their game they can beat any team in the league.
Unfortunately, that rarely happens.

There is no denying that they are a hard working team on most nights. They play an energetic & entertaining style of game but they have so little talent. Injuries, as expected, are showing just that. The only thing that they have going for them is that this is the best group of coaches ever assembled in this franchise's history. |

What? - Marwood
You deny being part of the hysteria in cheering for failure...? As in Pom Pom glee to mock and denegrade Canucks. Cast sarcasm and cynicism with delight. Isn't that over the top roar chanting negativity? |

It's called realism, son. You keep parading around in Joseph's Technicolour Dreamcoat and I'll keep my expectations ( "hysteria in cheering failure" ) low.

This is where you continually miss the point. Not a single person here, no matter which label you want to put on them, wants the team to be terrible, and to lose. Everyone has the same goal, a Stanley Cup. The difference is that some people can accept that the team, as currently constructed, is seriously devoid of high end NHL talent. Sure, if everything goes right they can’t beat the cream of the crop, but that’s hard to do 82 times per season.
There are plenty of people here that are “optimistic” while at the same time acknowledging that there is still a long way to go before the Canucks are “good” again. |

The next 4 games? What about the last 40 years? I think we’ve been told all we need to know. |

I share those views. It's the reality of the rebuild with lots of lows and baby step bright spots. But there are gleeful posts celebrating losing. Whatever the reasons they are entitled to their version of success through failure. But where it goes too far is this constant hypocrisy of some talking about pom poms and glee when they are doing that but for reasons of negativity. They raise the roar in cheering by posting their hyperbole. They are entitled to their opinions but not making up something that isn't happening and flipping it over as if they are not doing it themselves. |

Fixed.... remember facts do matter, but feelings matter more and the positive reinforcement Green gets from your support makes him feel good. |
