Yep, some are uptight and in denial. Someone needs to go down with the ship I guess.

Honestly, I am not even sure what I want them to do... I know I cannot watch more Chaput/Menga AHL crap. If we are going to lose, lose with the kids and help them grow..... I guess.....

Also, you come across as a know-it-all pompous ass who immediately rejects anyone's opinion that does not fall in line with yours.
- Marwood

That's your lie and you spread it often. When in fact it is you who do that. I am sure your clique will come out to support you. But hey protests are uncomfortable and the truth messy. Most turn away and don't want to get involved at first. But the truth does come out eventually.

Fact is in the posts in this thread I respected opinions and views and was supportive of people being entitled to them. No where did I reject anyone or say I know better then them. That is your lie and how and you gaslight the thread.

What I simply pointed out that you keep talking about pom poms which is what you do in cheering failure to create some sort of hysteria.

This is a real crossroads....

Some teams tank by choice and some by tank thrust upon them. .... I feel like I have been Thrusted.

I guess there is no such thing as too much depth. If you asked me last month, I would have said the team is deep. Now we are simply in-deep.

I am just watching one game at a time.... no expectations of playoffs or draft seed. The only bandwagon I am firmly on is the Calder Race.

Very fragile team right now, I also wouldn't be surprised if there were problems in the room.

Infighting in the team?

Infighting with the coach?

Why do you think this? Is there something I have missed?

Just instinct?

There was a point in this season where I thought Markstrom might make the jump to no.1 status but it just isn't to be. AHL and a decent backup is most likely where he will have his career. There was a reason he almost set the record for NHL games played without a shutout lol.
- LordHumungous

Yeah goalies are funny that way having more set backs because of the spotlight exposure on goals. Hard to say what combination of skill and confidence finds them in the right groove of performance. He might not get there like you point out.

But it is still a team game so Marky's bloopers aside, even the greats have them, does he rise or fall based on team success? Like ability to score or defend? Issues plaguing this current version of the team.

AHH! Marky is so Frustrating! Bottom line is too many easy goals given up. One a week is too much. Once a game and you should be in Utica.

Yes but although Nilsson loses games.... he is rarely the reason the game is lost. On the other hand, Marky constantly seems to put us behind on a weak goal.

As someone mentioned earlier, I was hoping Markstrom would be able to show he is ready to be the #1.
They should give more games to Nilsson and see if he has it.

That's fun to watch with BB's development. Barzal is exciting to watch but how crucial is he in his team's success. Wonder if they would factor that in with points achieved?

Eastern Media Bias to boot so as points go, I think BB needs a clear victory in points. I am starting to think BB could end with 35 goals.
