my end game is for the Canucks to win a Championship, I don't support losing but I do understand the benefits of it, so, I'll embrace it. For now.

I thought their stated objective was to remain competitive enough to develop the young guys. Do you think BB would thrive if he came to every game under the notion there was no chance to compete? Sure good players find ways to perform but it does sink into their psyche.

Could say Yotes struggles started sinking Keller and Isles recent success turnaround raised Barzal. BB has been boucing around that bubble with Canuck treading. If they sink and bottom out so may his development.

That said don't want to see futures traded unless its for a long term build move like 4th for Pouliot.

Objectives are one thing, reality is another. Given our current roster and injury situation we just can't battle through it…no depth of scoring or goaltending as of right now. Plus 3/6 of our D belong in the AHL.

The theme was press box tool which you raised before. BB was slumping end of pre-season. Start of season TG scratched him. Then when he got into the line up he took off. Won't put those expectations on Goldy. But he may fall somewhere between how that tool worked for BB and JV
