He plays with more heart than every sabres team since Briere and Drury left, is a 4th line grinder, has more goals than our entire defensive core put together, is the only guy who checks, is constantly in position and is playing the exact role he is supposed to.

Why anyone is hating on him this season is beyond me.

He is by far the most talented player on the Sabres but to say he shows up each night is wrong IMHO... he can and has to be better than he been this year, and contrary to what some say, playing with Kane has nothing to do with it.
I believe he can play much better... at least I sure hope so.

I don't have a problem with how he shows up, I believe he can be better, I'd agree with that.

But, there is limited behind him, every team knoes, shut down Eichel Sabres have nothing. That's what they do. That's why during OT's he's out there so much, no talent.
