Sure, but priority wise, I want management focussing on building up a strong future core. Build a culture, starting in the AHL, rookie camps, training camps, where team toughness is emphasized.

You don't have to have a team with 3-4 guys who are in charge of protecting the other 16-17 guys, you need a team mentality. There's more scrums/agitating(like Hartnell/Subban) than there is actual head hunting and fighting these days.

I'd rather build an actual culture with the next core instead of overpaying in trades/ufa for outside help.

That can be done when the team is ready to compete in the playoffs again.

Newell Brown is still an idiot. You think you would want your team to win hockey games. Gagner (CLB PP specialist) from last season is playing the point. First of all he really sucks defensively. Second, he played the high slot. Edler now runs the first PP, there's a mistake in itself.

The drop pass then the pass over to the other streaking player then the little chip to the guy at the blue line failed 4 times in a row last night. Then DP shot it in and well we know what happened after that.
