Take the name out of the equation . They are on pace this year for 40 pts. Next year with the additional players their TOI would be reduced again. So figure on 35 points each. THat is third line productivity.

Pay them as third liners and give them third line minutes , let Bo and Brock take leadership and introduce EP and Gaudette.

Paying 5 mil each is stupid but if you are looking at 3.5 mil each then I would put my personal thoughts aside.

Second that above. Plus Gaudette with 20 something year olds has its physical challenges too. They with Goldy will be the most ready to earn a roster spot next season.

But even if they all start on Comets with OJ, Lind and Gadjo they'll be in line to stick on a call up.
