IMO Mr. Benning isn't interested in team toughness, he's interested in trying to get a more talented team on the ice. Injuries to one good player in Horvat and two mediocre players in Baertschi and Sutter shouldn't really hurt the club as much as it has.

That Sam Gagner signing looks terrible right now, he's just pathetic, he provides nothing without being surrounded by much better players like he was in Columbus.
