Agreed, still a disappointment but I was expecting him not to build off of last seasons success. His PP icetime per game is 1:20 less than last season, definitely not the same opportunities (nor linemates)
1) Gagner
2) Sutter
3) Gudbranson
4) Hutton
5) Granlund - WhiteLie
Giddy was supposed to be a difference maker. Has not been one in the slightest. |

It's the other guy and I am sure many would volunteer to drive him to the airport.

Careful. Once he's in your car you'll never get rid of him.

Six points in 31 games and a -7, he's still a disappointment to me.
1) Gagner
2) Eriksson
3) Grandlund
4) Burmistrov

Pointless through 21 games, lowest shots per game among D (including Biega), and ranked 6th in TOI/game for defensemen. Really disappointing for someone heading into UFA status |

I think its interesting people have Burmistrov on their lists of disappointments this year. He has passed through waivers in the past year and was signed for $900k, what were the expectations? He's producing around his normal pace |

Haha I guess. I just always thought he'd be a fringe lineup guy when the depth chart has: Horvat, Sedin, Sutter, and then some combination of Gagner, Burmistrov, Gaunce, Granlund as 4C would have made it tough for that to happen |

It's disappointing that he's been a healthy scratch for 12 games, which means he's not impressing the coach enough to beat out even the crap bottom six guys on the club. That's pathetic.
I don't expect him to scoring 20 goals but I do expect him to contribute. His salary isn't hurting the team, still a disappointment though. Way down the list of disappointments however! |

agreed it isnt pretty but just was surprised he was in some people's top-5 disappointments this year. The list is long but in my view isnt on the top half of that list |

Interesting chart
- VanHockeyGuy
I assume that's from 1 game.... not a large sample size so it's not informative.
It is however both blue and green... so that's kinda interesting, if you like green and blue... |

He's 4th on the team (and D) in hits per game, 5th on team (and D) in blocks per game, and tied for last on the entire team in takeaways with 2... - WhiteLie
I don't understand the fascination with this kid, maybe it's because he fought a couple times.
Speaking of which, did you see that piece on Matt Johnson, regardless of the why's and how's, it's a sad story.

Talks the old school game I guess
I had meant to watch it, but the read is good. Tragic stuff, really scary to think that there could potentially be a growing number of cases from former athletes of all levels with conditions such as these |

Look at thie bright side. With all the experts saying how bad these Canuck players are then they have no trade value and JB can resign them cheeply. This gives lots of cap room to take on garbage contracts with futures as sweeteners. |

How these bottom 5 teams manage to keep there teams is beyond stupidity.

Same teams every year. - Reubenkincade
Bettman is an idiot. And those attendance figures are skewed too. Including Dallas many of those same teams every year have barely 4000-9000 fans on any given home game. The numbers are skewed for the local papers so it's shows higher figures...not sure how gary did it but he did. ARZ bleeds 40 mil every year but the team is still there...boggles the mind. But yet Gary threatens to move Ottawa as they are down a few thousand and the Flames cause they can't bully them into an Arena deal. The guy is a fu**cking joke commissioner but he sure takes care of his American ownership revenue stream. |

Tony G. advocating Benning moving aside at the end of the year, if he's agreeable, and getting a competent management group in here. Says there's some nice pieces he's put together (Boeser/Pettersson) but his overall body of work is not pretty. |
