Hutton or stetcher could go. But I’d keep one of em.

Edler isn’t going anywhere this year.
So you keep him, stetch. Mdz. Pouliot. Next year add tree and oj. Plus 5-9 extras for injuries.

With MDZ might as well get a pick for him and the quicker you get a guy drafted generally the quicker he will be in the show. With edler going no where next year and pouliot coming back you may as well make room for OJ. If he wont be ready you can always sign another guy like MDZ next summer. He has no long-term future here.

My opinion of the goalies is the same. Keep marky and deal Nilson, give demko a few starts from deadline to end of the year if he looks good great and if not put him in utica again and sign another back up goalie.

Our defense is terrible. The only way its getting better is via the draft. So id start dealing guys now to get extra picks/prospects.

Also, if they dont like goldy unload him now while he has any value at all.

Guddy will likely be moved and Hutton MIGHT be moved. I doubt we make any big changes to our D until after the lottery. If we win Dahlin there will be some changes made, if we don't we keep the old guard while we slowly bring in the new.

That's reasonable on expectation given the circumstances. Have you noticed the uptick in creating trade demands as the team flounders. Followed by the disposition that losses are good but not acceptable and everyone must go. Rebuilds are so messy.

I believe that it is generally accepted among everyone here that the team is playing terrible. Also accepted that losing Horvat, Sutter, Baer, etc should not hit the team as hard as it has. Horvat is great, but is he the difference in losing the last few games 25-5 total?

My point is that there has to be some other factor in play.

This may be WAY too early, but it has to be at least considered. What if Travis Green has in some way lost the team?

Green is a tough coach that pushes buttons. It is no secret that a lot of the players on the team are soft. I am hoping that is not the case, but what if?
