That's reasonable on expectation given the circumstances. Have you noticed the uptick in creating trade demands as the team flounders. Followed by the disposition that losses are good but not acceptable and everyone must go. Rebuilds are so messy. - Nuck4U
I've noticed, but to me that's coming more from the crowd who thought this team would be decent. Not just talking about HB, but across all platforms. Obviously with the injuries they have a right to change that position now. The people who figured this team was bad from day 1 are pretty much saying the same things they said during training camp. |

Guddy will likely be moved and Hutton MIGHT be moved. I doubt we make any big changes to our D until after the lottery. If we win Dahlin there will be some changes made, if we don't we keep the old guard while we slowly bring in the new. - Retinalz
Reasonable plan. In the meantime Bulldog is up to huff and puff around the ice while Tanev mends another ailmnent. |

I bet Biega wins some people over again and then fades, he plays a lot better when he's coming in fresh, but he always tails off. |

Most predicted our team be marginally better than last year if healthy. If many believed hansen and burrows were better contributors than some on this team last year, and are hèalthy scratches on different teams this year, what does that say about half our current roster lol. I always plug our current players on good teams and see where they would "fit". I have realized that 3/4 of them dont really belong anywhere but the canucks lol |

So they knew the team would lose DD for the season again. Horvat would go down with an injury? I want that magic 8 ball. |

Read it again, I didn't say they predicted injuries. They just didn't think the team was good in the first place so they have no reason to change their stance right now |

I think this is what some people point out with some of the players on the team and it leads to arguments over which fringe player is better than the other. In the end, a decent amount of these guys would struggle to crack the everyday healthy lineup of good teams. |

^this
90% of the posters in here said before training camp started that they believed this time was marginally better with the additions/subtractions from last year

Not sure seems like a mix of both. Depends on what you mean by decent between bubble to bottom crawler. It just seems the complaining is louder from the ones (not directing at you) who wanted things to go south. |

Mediocre. And they started off hot last year too... how soon people forget.
82 Game season. Depth and dealing with injuries is apart of NHL hockey. Most people knew the defense would suck again when Tanev misses his 15-20. Most knew the goalies weren't legit NHL starters. Most knew that scoring goals would once again be a a struggle.
Canucks have been hit hard with injuries, but the lack of quality on this team was why people thought they weren't good. |

Do you think the Hansen & Burrows' trades will make GMs weary of Canuck castoffs?
'Cause looks like they were both done last year. |

He's a good spotter to dunk in once in a while given the choices available. |

Nah. That's the thing. People think that playing on bad teams is death for a player's value, but for forwards it can be a blessing. They get more ice time than they should and it inflates their point totals. It can be death for a dman though. |

No, they knew the team was paper thin on talent and needed everything imaginable to go right so that they might be a wildcard team. |

The results were really quite different this season then they were last season. Missing a lot of key players right now. I don't get how that makes the team bad? It shows a lack of depth. I don't know how that makes a team bad. |
