I agree with this. I want Karlsson, but I dont want to give up a huge price to get him and then a huge salary cap hit and then hope his injury history does not catch up to him. This type of move seems counter productive. Yes, stud D man (30 years old?) but give up a lot of scoring / forwards future.

If they are looking to make a run they may want Kane. Georges was included because they know him and they would need another RD. Okposo would be to even out the money for Weber. If they are looking to rebuild, they may not want Weber for the rest of his contract and could flip Kane and Georges at the deadline. I would even include a prospect like Baptiste. Also, Paciorrety only has one year left and we could resign him or trade him next deadline.
