He’s gone
Botterill- I've had a lot of conversations with his agent, he has a lot of clients on our team. I'm well aware of Evander's status and his desires. we've talked about our situation a lot, both sides respect each other's opinions here, but right now we're not focused on extensions - sbroads24
I heard that too, but there are still almost 2 full months before the decision has to be made. |

Yeah,
that doesn’t sound like he’s staying
Damn it
Hopefully we can at least get back a young guy who will become part of our “core” instead of just “parts” that’ll likely turn out to just be average depth |

(A) it was the sound, as it says right in the post for those who read; and
(B) Don't you think they if they went back all the way to the beginning they would be late for the next viewing and those people would be just as angry, and then the showing after that, and so on???
So you offer the people their money back and if they don't want the refund they can go home to their mommies and cry, or even worse, go back to their daddies and "lawyer up." - Der Kaiser
I remember seeing LotR: Return of the King on IMAX at midnight the day before it came out, it wasn't an IMAX movie, they had issues with the projector, so the whole movie was shaky and out of focus, when it would get real bad someone would shout out "Focus!", and it would get marginally better, but that's the extent of the female dogging. As we were walking out we got vouchers for a free movie. The only things said were "sorry" from the employees and "thanks" from the patrons. But that was 2003. Feels like a lifetime ago when seeing how people behave in public. |

I'd love to see him identify a guy in the minors he wants instead of 2 2nds |

I think the return will be much better than two 2nds
But even a late 1st usually projects as depth a lot more often than it turns out to be a difference maker
I think I read somewhere that MacKenzie said the price was gonna be something like a young player, 1st & a prospect
I just want that young player &/or prospect to be a “core” guy, not another “Larsson” |

Von Dudensteins,
Couple things:
A. First time I went to the Wells Fargo Center this season. The season ticket epidemic is in Philly as well. All kinds of empty seats. Arena is as quiet as the Key Bank Biblioteca. That place used to be intimidating.
2. Eichel always scores against the Canes. Just ignore his game logs from this year and last. - Hatboro_Swords
Vancouver is the same way. Lots of empty seats and a morgue like setting. The game against Nashville the other night had lots of empty seats in the lower bowl. If the Leafs go down by 1, it becomes very quiet as well. But it is full.

You mean two months for him to blow out a knee and screw us. If teams want him now and are willing to package a great return for him, send him packing. |

He wants to go UFA; it's his right as written into the CBA. I can't blame him. |

I'll take a developing first rounder from 2014-17 and a 1st round pick this year.

It makes sense for him. Im still not ruling out a potential extension if only cause of the previous reports of teams being hesitant to offer him a long term deal. 2 months anything can happen |

That's such a high ask for a guy who's scoring winger.
Ladd brought back a prospect that organization had deemed expendable and a first
hanzal was a 1st, 2nd, 4th
I'd hope for Kane's return to be slightly higher than this, but high ceiling young player and a first rounder? |

Does anyone know the teams that are seriously interested in Kane? Rumors put out there by people other than Garth and Eklund. |

Debrincat was still on the board when Murray moved up to 33 to grab Asplund, he had multiple opportunities at debrincat, he was never going to pick him. |
