I'm going off what Homie (I think it was him) said earlier in the season, Athanasiou + was offered for Reinhart. If they could swing something like that, and trade Kane for a D prospect and a 1st, or maybe 2 seconds to use for either drafting or trade currency, that's a win imo

you can get quantity if you're after draft picks. Friedman thinks the sabres are swinging for something higher than what ladd and hanzal got.
