If I had to bet on one being eventually traded, my money is on Ghost.

In overall ice time, Provorov is playing slightly more, however, if you take out pp time, Provy is playing around 2-3 minutes more a night and much more on the PK.

Thanks! Thats what I figured; I saw Provy had close to 28 mins last night. Impressive as a kid. He’s a special one

Good points but personnel-wise you are assuming they keep all-3 of Provorov, Ghost, and Sanheim. At some point - maybe 2 years from now, maybe 5 years from now - one of them being moved for a forward is a strong possibility. I don't think Provorov will ever be traded but one of the others could. This will all play itself out as they kids develop but the Flyers are in a good spot since D generally have more value.

At this point last year, I did assume that one of Ghost or Sanheim would have been moved, but I no longer think that's a forgone conclusion. We may have found our number 1 center in Patrick (let's see how he progresses).

But yes, there is always the possibility.

Sorry if it was already mentioned, but how does their ice time compare?

Provy is averaging 25 vs 23 but Werenski gets PP1 time (he stays out sometimes too). He is also paired with Seth Jones and has more freedom

There is no way I wouldn't pick Provorov ahead of Werenski

I hope no one gets traded. I like the group and love how they are all homegrown. That is a first for this team regarding defense prospects. Historically, all of their best defensemen have come over in trades - hopefully until now.

Jack EiCHeL has been injured and plays on a trash team. He is still very, very good and worth 2nd overall

That's a good 'Merican pairing right there.

damn sure is! Jones/Johanssan was a great trade for both teams, especially CBJ, who needed a top D.

When it's all said and done, at the end of their careers, I don't think there will be a huge difference between Eichel, Provy and Werenski. I really don't.

But yes he is a great player, and yes he's playing on a trash team, and yes he's been injured. That being said, IMO he doesn't currently impact the game as well as, or as consistently enough as Provorov does. However, I must admit, I get to watch a lot more Provy than Eichel. Eichel was nearly a PPG player last season thru 2/3rds of the season.

Going back on my list, I would swap Barzal and Eichel.

I'm pretty sure that's nearly a lock to happen.
