Merkeley is one of the bigger boom-bust picks next draft. Not good at defending but arguably most talented offensively.

JV and Pouliot are the only faster additions right now to roster. But the team's style of game is different because of TG's system. Its the opposite of WD's and why their pace looks faster.

Ive heard he has improved in the d zone. But I agree. If we can land an extra 1st or 2 would be worth a gamble if hes around after 15. That is unless you think he is next Jordan Subban and will never figure things out..

He works hard and brings a physical presence. For cheap id be okay with it. Would be good if we had a shut down line again next season. He would be a good winger to play with gaudette due to his 200 foot game.
