I really hope so, but this year has been brutal for him outside of 2-3 games.
He was bumped down to the 3rd line.
As a top 10 pick he should be a PPG player in the AHL, no excuses - sbroads24
True, but he is 19. I think part of the worry is how good sergachev appears to be and how quickly his brother got to the pros. |

I did but also have read numerous times that Wayne Gretzky had a VERY generous score-keep...
And that he probably never realistically got even close to 200 points in a season. - BeadyEyedDouche
Honestly, it’s not even to knock Kane as much as point out that Eichel hasn’t gotten really any gimme’s this year.
If he had a few his numbers look a ton better |

Now they just go right up to the glory hole- voila! free entrance. |

I don't think he has. He looked great to start that tourney and then faded when it counts.
He's a former top 10 pick, I think it's important to see if he really has what it takes to drive the offence or is he just a passenger.
Plus he'd miss a week and a half at most. Not a huge deal - Sabresfan-365
I get that...just think that if last night was a break-through game, wjc might be a bit counterproductive

Let's take Ryan Johansen for example he wasn't even close to NHL ready but the Columbus Blue Jackets chose to develop him through the NHL some people develop at a different pace

Guhle - feetontheair22
16 pts in 26 games
averaging 2.5 shots a game
Shame Risto and McCabe didn't become a bit better, would have taken a bit of the pressure of Guhle |

I think they still have room to grow. Risto is 23. McCabe is 24. They are very young. I truly think that with some stability in the coaching department those two can begin to excel. |

You're kidding right? so much is expected of him to solve the defensive troubles this team has. |

The age would mean something if they were still relatively new to the league.
Ristolainen is closing in on 300 games played in the NHL
Mccabe almost at 200

That kid might be the best prospect in Rochester right now... those numbers he is putting up are eye opening...he has a beautiful shot. my guess is they are trying to work on the back end before he gets here... which is the right thing to do.

Me personally I wouldn't call that" eye popping " I would say PPG is but still ..
I agree he's the best Prospect in Rochester but we don't have any to begin with besides nylander so he wins by default |
