I have seen way worse players then Gus in the NHL

So I do agree given his production over the past 2-1/3 seasons.
But, I still maintain he played much, much better the last 2 games..I actually noticed his jam and he created havoc down low. That said, production counts, which has been that of an AHLer over those seasons.

He needs a change of scenery and I would take a 3rd for him at this point.

If a GM gave that for him, it would be a huge steal. Girgs scores at a sub-4th line pace while making more than Erod.

He's a really good AHL player, but brings nothing to the NHL level. No physicality, fighting, scoring, creativity. I'd take Nolan or Wilson over him any day.

Housley scratching him gives me faith because he seems to have figured out girgs is bad

Like once a year I get a craving for it. Mostly for the breadsticks, but the pizza too. I'm always disappointed in the pizza aside from the crust which is awesome.

That I agree with

We need to get Dahlin or one of the other Dman at the very top of this draft. Virtually every contender has a franchise Dman and we'll never afford to trade for one. I like seeing the team come together and put up some wins, but we need to stay at the bottom for the rest of this season. Our defense will only marginally get better without a legit #1.

I really have no clue what Girg's value to this team is. He doesn't excel at anything, he can't score or make plays, he doesn't hit or fight, he belongs nowhere near the top 6 or PP, he's just a body that skates around out there like the Sabres were down a man for a pick-up game and they said we have no other option, grab a jersey.

there’s a whole bunch of guys who develop like Pominville or Brian Campbell
