Nashville is looking like the real deal. Good Goalie, best D in the league, strong down the middle, can score goals, gritty, and fast. They are def a model team of todays NHL |

I would easily send tree for mcdavid every time. This team needs a deal for tree to buy out his contract and come over next season imo.

How many players do those other teams have playing in nhl, that don't get released too play? Also, Canada supplies 46-50% of the players for the nhl.
Until that number drops significantly, then maybe we can have that discussion. |

That's just because we have more of our population playing hockey and therefore, more likely that we'll produce NHL talent. And also note that Hockey Canada as a rule, doesn't select necessarily the best team with the best talent, just the team that can play together and play with whoever the coach's system. It's the same with the Olympics and the same with the World Championships. |

Agreed.
We can put together a very good team with star players filling various and still have a very good team of players left off the roster. |

So…revenge vs Calgary tonight? |

So, Bill Daly says he is mystified by the "low" attendance in Ottawa. They have around 16500 avg this year and are 22nd in attendance.
No mention of perennial attendance bottom feeders like Arizona Florida New Jersey Carolina or Islanders.
Nor is there any mention that Buffalo has 50% of there fans travel across the border too get bums in those seats. |

So why aren't there more teams in Canada and or near the Canadian border. Seattle, Quebec could avg 15000 plus per game. |
