Nope, me too Divisions are mostly meaningless now in terms of rivalries. We play Pittsburgh 4 times a year and Toronto 5? It's dumb. Go back to segregating the conferences, please. I don't need to see Colorado twice a year, I'd way rather see Ottawa 8 times in a grudge match scenario

I liked the 8 division games, but I would have to think with the division structure, which was different back then, the best you could do is 6. Four is too few.

4v4 hockey is a joke
Goalie equipment definitely shouldn't ever get bigger at this point
3v3 OT is a joke
I think every team should play in every building at least once per season
Interference happens almost every single dump-in, but agree, they call it and it stops
Instigator penalty was always a joke
2 icings in a row by the same line should 100% be a 2-minute delay of game minor

I'll take it one step further:

No free icing on a penalty kill -or- make a penalty be full duration.
Eliminate the trapezoid
If the puck hits the netting, it stays in play
No high-sticking whistle
Push the blue lines closer to center-ice, expanding offensive zone space (solves the issue of NHL sized rink, IMO)
Any kind of hook or slash from behind to a player un-evaded to the goalie results in a penalty shot
Shootout goals count toward season totals
