He needs a woman to help him grow into a man.
Botts should hire an Escort to help him along this season. |

I am willing to give him a year, to be sure.
But let’s stop making excuses for him..
- He is 19-3/4 years old (3/‘98)
- his brother, who is 21 (5/‘96) came up to the NHL at the end of the ‘15-‘16 season and did very well.
- Alex seems completely lost in the NA game, perhaps playing In an International Tourney will actually set him back from further learning how to produce on the smaller ice.
Alex’s comparable timeline would be later this season...do you really think he’ll be ready in March? I don’t think so unless the light bulb goes off in his head suddenly.
Sooooooo, tell me why his development has been very, very slow? - IonSabres
Sam put up 42 points when he was 20/21 in the nhl.... let’s see what BUST does next year.... right now he has 34 point in 79 ahl games....impressive! A whopping 2 goals so far this year on a good team.

For one he’s 19 and he’s developing in Rochester instead of overseas or in the OHL where he should be
So basically he’s not even supposed to be in Rochester yet for another year
If he was 23 and still putting up the stats then yeah I would say OK then yes bust territory - GERBE!!!75PTS[img][/img]
Sure nylander's 19 that's why I didn't quite put him in the silent sam is a bust category.
He should be showing something by now.
Good players show glimpses.
Lighting it up players , should be lighting it up by now.
He has shown neither.
Tmgm kept him in the ahl against older and stronger players. Seams fair to give him a slight pass.
Now still nothing . What again has he done?
Gtgm is also now getting a reputation for picking the wrong guy. He fits the profile

But his brother took a different Road for development which I would have encouraged for Alex he played overseas with higher competition and it got him ready for the next level

And that was the wrong decision they should have come to agreement that he could play overseas the AHL is the worst place for development nothing but head hunters and people that are not even going to make the NHL
What's the point of playing against people in the AHL that aren't remotely close to NHL caliber players |

Your probably to young to remember Keith Gretzky. Wayne's younger brother. 3rd round pick by sabres.
Different Road of development.
Wayne wha then nhl
Keith ahl then Europe
Had Keith played in the wha? Would have he been as good as Keith?
No - it's talent level

I don’t have any excuses TBH they won
But it will most likely be over next week
So once again all those meaningless wins cost us a QB - GERBE!!!75PTS
There are many, many scenarios that get us in with 9 wins. I'm not saying it will happen, but it's not like next week kills us by any stretch. |

It is the style of hockey played here.
It is why football players go to us colleges and don’t prepare to become football players by going to Australia to play Rugby.
It is a brutal, tight, no space league.
Not a big ice surface with tons of time. |

I really can't comment on this because I have never seen him play so I can't really say anything
But the key thing I saw there you said 3rd round pick and nylander was a first-round pick and he was highly touted
