Good call by TG, the young dmen need a wakeup call. Even DP has struggled lately after a great start.

I think a little time away will do him some good. He definitely still has good potential but he hasn't handled being overworked very well. When they bring him back in a game or two Green should make sure he gets 3rd pairing minutes

Obscure rules and agreement between CHL and NHL that because he's 19 when season begins but will turn 20 he can play for Comets only if he was under contract by previous calendar year. But if you know better please explain. Thanks.

It was about getting extra years of waiver eligibility, not Comets. And really it isnt a big deal as long as each season they keep the players under 9 games per season until they are ready
