Who was the first and most ardent Sam hater? That would be me. People cry about the crap they take about what they say about players? I said Sam was a stiff and he wasn't even a Sabre yet and the whiners couldn't keep hold of themselves. That's ok, my manhood is still in tact but whiffing on him is a big reason why the rebuild has failed.

Pretty sure I'm on record as letting the board know silent Sam is not good at nhl hockey and puts forth very little effort or heart. I battled the believers on the board. He was the first piece in the rebuild, we are now making up for his failures this season.

Yeah of course, but you're advocating that the results have been terrible, which is of course true, but if we take that logic to its conclusion, the Capitals have achieved the same results we have. Right now 30 teams are yelling into the void, while Pittsburgh dominates.

I don’t remember what an important Sabres game is like. When was the last really important game that made people nervous? When we played Arizona and wanted to lose for McEichel ?

The Capitals play 10+ of those important games per year.

We need the right combination of players but my biggest fear is Botterill tries
to " remake " the Pens. We don't have that kind of talent.

I think what is being lost on whether the organization is doing better or not is that Rochester is having their best season in 5 years. Everybody today wants instant gratification, but that is not how it works. If you have faith that the team is heading in the right direction, good for you. If you don't think that we are improving and want to continue the woe is me the sky is falling attitude, maybe it's time you go find another team or sport to follow.

He went to Vegas to protect Manson and Vatanen.

Vatanen was then traded for Henrique.

They gave up Shea Theodore, who’s undoubtedly going to be better than Vatanen, to get a 3rd line center.
