8-6? You mean the record that's one win better at this same point last year than what got Rex Ryan fired?
- BeadyEyedDouche

I mean: heading into Christmas and rooting for other teams to lose, so it betters our playoff chances.

I'll take that, it's been a long time.
Sad that fighting for a wild card is now deemed a success, but considering the past 2 decades.

This is progress

I liked both of these guys.
Jbotts sold at the right time.
Ennis isn't who he was (when he was good) and not injured
Foligno was a overachiever. A 4th round pick, born in buffalo.
Mike foligno was a grest captain, fun to see his son play here

- Boss34

I’m totally ok with them being traded
Botts won that trade big time

NHL.com headline:

Deslauriers, Canadiens hand Canucks sixth loss in seven games
Forward scores two goals to help overcome Vanek hat trick for Vancouver

THE PLAYERS ARE NOT THE PROBLEM.

THE CULTURE IS THE PROBLEM.

SEE: Der Kaiser, Honkforthegoose posts.

Happy with loser points being a signal of "improvement" over the past 5 games.

Team is starting to "click" yet rode our franchise player's 4-point game to an OT loss the other night, and followed it up with a shutout, in their own building, AGAINST THEM, from a back-up goalie, against a team playing it's second game in 2 nights.

It. Is. The. Culture.

- BeadyEyedDouche

Yes. You're right. I'm the problem....

I'm allowing them to wallow in the basement.

Do you think that those of us that are more positive aren't frustrated with what we see as well? Because if you think we aren't, you're clearly the delusional one.

I'm frustrated as hell. Do I want the team I'm a fan of to be in the basement perpetually? ABSOLUTELY NOT! But I also have 0 control over what happens in the locker room. And I have 0 influence on it either.

But please, continue to make it seem like Kaiser and I are the reason the team hasn't been good.

No, Pegula does not get credit for a team he literally is as hands off as possible on.

Kim runs that show. Terry's baby is the Sabres.

Go figure.

- BeadyEyedDouche

You went from

I've been saying for a few years now, he has his hands in everyone's box of Cheerios and just can't stop.

He "saved" our sports teams but now he's actually ruining them.

To now, the Bills are ok, but that's because of Kim

Literal morons do not turn themselves into billionaires.

The way he made his money ,may be direct karma on our bills and sabres success.

Ruin the environment = well deserved bad karma

- Boss34

At least someone gets it.

But I'd argue thee's a lot of morons who got good advice and profited from it.

Even a moron has to understand that 2+2=4 when you explain it to them.

Literal morons can turn themselves into anything under capitalism: It rewards sociopathic tendencies, which, unsurprisingly, are best exhibited by people with lower I.Q.

If I was middle-class and a complete (frank)-up, I could become a multi-millionaire with 2 things: A heavy loan and solid investment advice. That's literally all anyone needs.

Problem is, most people have neither in their lives, go figure.

No, not you as individuals, you as denizens of our toxic, loser culture that leads you to be happy with such a miserable return on our emotional investment.

We get it
It’s all Pegula’s fault

Trying to find things to be positive about doesn’t mean “the culture” is a problem

Most ppl just don’t like wallowing in misery like u seem to
- jdfitz77

See that's funny, because I think it's your type that's actually wallowing in misery.

The rest of us are trudging through the mud and rightfully female doging about it.

No, it has everything to do with the Sabres because that dirty money tainted our franchise and I'm not in misery, like I said, I'm usually sipping coffee and smoking some weed.

I'm a pretty chill guy in all honesty.

I must have mistaken all your b!tching for true happiness
My bad

Although...
constant whining seems a lot closer to misery
And being positive seem closer to being happy
Maybe that’s just my “intolerable” view of the world though

Murray overpaid for Kane who became a P.R. headache for him.
He overpaid for Fasching and Lehner.
He trade away an awful lot of futures.
He ignored the defense in the organization and at the drafts.
He ignored Rochester.
His staff could not develop players.

When asked what was his plan to right the ship, his reply basically was, "beats me?"

He got himself fired, pure and simple.

- sskkoo1

He also talked like an bumhole in interviews, like we were the best team in the league.

So you think I'm happy with how things have gone? Again, clearly your'e the delusional one.

Just because I'm glad they seem to finally look more like an NHL team over the last 3 weeks doesn't mean I'm "happy." Displaying positivity about something doesn't automatically equate to happiness.

I'm a glass half full kind of person. You're clearly a glass is half empty person. Fine. Whatever. Just because I'm positive about things doesn't mean I "like" what I see.

Even if they still finish 8-8, going into an offseason with a trash OL, QB problem, a defensive line that traded Dareus and might lose Williams to retirement, leaving our DT position a glaring hole, a still laughable receiving core, another year older McCoy (pushing 30 real hard these days) and our best player, hands down, all season, was the kicker?

Oh my. We still have all those problems if we win out, BTW.

So smoking an illegal susbstance that gets to the US through murderous activity on the borders is all good but expanding access to natural gas over oil based energy is a big problem? That's next level idiocy right there.

I don't think you are "happy" just that you don't realize a loser-culture is the reason you're okay with the last few games being just "good enough" to show some kind of upswing, since we got some loser-points on a Western road-trip.

I'm a "glass has some amount of liquid in it but that doesn't solve my thirst problem tomorrow" kind of person.
