Some great sounding guitar going on, gotta love it.
Any suggestion for great saxophone players?

So funny that WD got ripped on so hard for fielding and AHL roster yet Green gets a pass given a nearly identical situation.

- golfingsince

We got ripped because Dorsett was the most heavily used forward when down a goal, and Megna/Chaput got more ice than *choose any “young” “prospect” you like*

Gagner is a hard no.
Erikkson goes without saying.

The difference to me so far is that WD knew this team was crap, was polite enough not to say it out loud, and coached a style of play that would expose the slow foot speed the least. Green (I’m guessing) has been told to take it back to Crow style up tempo, or Torts style aggressive forecheck, but he doesn’t have the ponies yet to succeed.

I like both guys, the current coach really isn’t important. In another few years it will matter much more, but there are guys on this team who will learn a lot from Green, and develop

I hated Willie but he wasn't as bad as some suggested. Prefer Green's style more and his usage of the Sedin's I agree that the current coach isn't that important. The only thing that is important at this stage is developing the young players. Future stars like Guance etc.

Couldn’t help myself.

Tougher to pump n dump players with additional years.

I bet Chicago makes some moves. Can the Penguins be done, I doubt it. TML need to go for it, and I think the Oil also feel like the division is so terrible they can still come 3rd.

Willie was real good, but Greener is a step in the right direction

Every UFA signed in the next 3 years should have a high pump and dump value.

Tough for Canucks because they have retained salary on Lou for the next decade and Hansen. That said, overpay UFA on 1 year deal and retain salary/trade at deadline for best return

Do the Penguins go for Karlsson? When does Chicago no get jiggy with it by the deadline. It will be fun to watch Edmonton unload picks & prospects in desperation moves. Hopefully the Leafs over-pay for Tanev or Gubranson.

Hey Steaming just put my mushrooms on Mrs. Marwood's side and all is good. Sounds like several crisp pilsners will be the perfect companions.

The only two things that matter is Brock and the woodpile. Everything else is just noise.

I think Bonamassa is the best replacing Satriani.
- A_SteamingLombardi

You could make a very good argument there. Joe is my #2 behind EVH but Bonnamassa is unreal as well. A true modern day virtuoso that guy was doing Stevie Ray Vaughn note for note at 7 years old...

Here's some noise to ponder....

The Vancouver Canucks and Buffalo Sabres have faced the greatest cumulative impact of injured forwards or defensemen by the IIT-skater metric.” The Canucks currently sport a 944.70 mark by that metric, good (or bad?) for first in the entire NHL by a margin of over 20 points

Too bad this hurts the development of players more then anything.

Yeah it's a shame the call ups couldn't stay in Utica to develop.

There could be so many with that distinction, sooo many. Gratton was considered the greatest unknown guitarist, watch Buchanan play Roys Buz from 1976... wow

Bonamassa another phenominal guitarist, Satriani and Frampton were favourites of mine way back.

Stevie Ray, Santana, we could go on and on.

Edit - Not sure how many here would like these two but excellent guitarists...Rodrigo y Gabriela https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-qgum7hFXk
